I was very nervous so pretty much every muscle in my body was tense, I felt almost no recoil. I fired it at at this 1100 page book (it's a collection of all kinds of puzzles, word searches, sudoku, mazes, etc so the pages are quite thick since you need to write in the book) from about 10 meters and was expecting to see a bullet stuck in it because the shot just didn't feel like much of anything. It really surprised me that the bullet went all the way through and it didn't look like that book offered much resistance at all
