I love, love, LOVE novel and especially 'believable' or at least tool use and designs of tools and environments that cater to the anatomies of the creatures that'e supposed to exist around it. I'm alwaysgiddy to see approaches to tool use applied by artists (and it *is* artists who do this. ain't no writer has tried depict that kind of meticulous shit by text alone.) to equip any number of four legged/handless fantasy beings with tools and weapons over the years. The pony board here on 4chan actally being central to my exposure to that line of conversation with endless arguments on the /mlp/ board going on about the utility afforded by unicorns using telekinesis, 'finger feathers' on pegasi and especially the questions around earth ponies having to use their fingerless stump feet and mouths as hands.
