I liked the American para jump suit, and the m43 jacket was nice despite it only coming around near the end. but i hate the parson jacket. fucking hate it, it makes everyone look like a chubby old man going out to walk the dog on a cold day and don't get me started on the marines green combat pajamas. who the fuck thought forever open non buttoning pockets was a good idea?
>>
>>62527595
Because the concentration was on men.

experience. I've been collecting for 20+ years, specifically WWII German, US, and Soviet, so I've gotten to where even from bad photos I can tell if it is fake or not usually. Helmets, tunics, equipment, etc all look to be fake except the weapons. Sad, many such cases.

The Nazis were probably the most Jewish society to have ever existed, I mean murdering people and stealing their gold fillings? Working old ladies to death in the factory? Culling disabled people to save money?
This sounds like something some Eastern European Baron would fabricate to initiate a pogram.

I'm pretty sure the Gas mask bag and inflatable belt are authentic
everything else uniform-wise is a repo for sure though, especially the helmets
>>
>>62543270
>helmets
the kraut helmet is a fake, but who on earth makes repro M1 pots?
>>
>>62544094(you)
nevermind, I looked it up. I just assumed enough clones and exports were made people didnt both. Ive had since I was kid a Belgian M1 and a front seam fixed bale in desperate need of refurbishment

I come from the world of American longrifles, most private collections are better than what museums have on display. I'd surmise if it didn't have to be dug out of the ground, laser-focused private collectors have a leg up on most museums that have to appeal to a wide audience when it comes to quality of items.
