They'd very likely be a US protectorate in a similar way.Said groups already did flee to Alaska, their descendants are still there and fucking hate Russia. Only difference is that they'd be self-governing, and they'd probably wind up taking control over Russia with US assistance after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, which would presumably lead to Russia being very chummy with America thanks to being their "savior" during the dark times of communism. So there wouldn't be a Russia-China axis thing like now.
