It was a relatively well paced series with a good balance of character and word building but man the amount of exposition when introducing the island's military and the tank crew was just really tedious for me. Still it picked up the slack towards the end. Especially during that scene.

Lots of wierd moe/animeish bullshit, don't expect super kino writing or a serious tone. There's bright spots if you don't take the show too seriously. Plus Pitohui makes my penis harder than diamonds when she's on the screen so.
