saw a TV show "JAG"? where one of those USMC amphib hits the beach and crawls up onto dry sand, does a 180 then opens rear hatch and all the grunts run out. I comment on this and this guy that was a 'Nam vet and current MIC employee scoffs and says that is how its done, for reasons.WTF would they open the big hatch facing possible enemy? >>62878074IIRC that (which pintle weapon was better) was one of the things that fluctuated by edition - occasionally it would be more expensive than a Storm Bolter, sometimes the move+shoot rules would actually favor the Storm Bolter, other times the Heavy Stubber would be a clear upgrade over the Storm Bolter with no downsides worth mentioning (or at all).Also, the Chimera was always better as an IFV, but there is something to be said for cheaper battletaxis like the Rhino (not that the game board is big enough for transports to really matter, so you're better off avoiding the transport tax and spending the points on proper tanks anyways).
