>>62878926Read lots, there is a long military tradition of writting a book when you get out so you can find books written buy guys that fought in anything from Cromwell tanks to Apache helicopters.Remember everyone lies and some governments mandate lies so take everything with a grain of salt but after a few books on any subject you start to get an idea of what is legit and what is bullshit .I highly recommend pic related for the Hellfire missile, it has nothing classified but gives you a good idea of how they are employed in combat and what Apaches were doing during the GWOT.Also highlights the failing of bong logi leading to airframes being down waiting for parts and others missing their service intervals because they needed to keep the ones that could fight in the fight.

Because if you just want a nifty picture book on war planes, vehicles and arms of various sizes that isn't secret information. If you want to actually understand the "why" of various designs, you need the engineering courses. I hope you like math.
