Yes, the US can do this every time except for back in 2008-09 when the stock market took a shit and real estate loans folded. Do you just not understand how the modern economy works or are you a BRICS fucker who anyway doesn't live in a free market economy which coincidentally has nothing to do with being third world?

The engine for a Shahed alone costs around $35000, without a $5000 propeller included. The whole thing probably costs $100-120K. That's the cost to manufacture, btw, when Iran sells one to Russia then Russia has to pay a profit to Iran or something, Iran doesn't work at cost. When Russia makes one, they have to deal with the sudden huge inflation the country has encountered, much greater than most of the rest of the world. It just isn't that much cheaper than any other missile.

The missiles Iran fired at Israel are $10-20 million a pop, and they fired ~200 of them to try and get through defenses so they spent $1-2 billion for a symbolic attack.

It's kinda pathetic when you consider the wages of the west are comparably higher. If we actually considered wage cost per hour worked, you'd find western weaponry is actually pretty cost efficient, which is why they're the leading arms manufacturing supplier to half of the world.
RnD costs are also often included, which stop being relevant once (if) mass production starts.

Yes, obviously. You know you're fucked when your basic bitch rocket artillery costs 900,000k per shot and you only make 200/yr. The [current thing] has shown that industrial power is still king. Guccishit worked in a 2 month war with incompetent ragheads back in the 90s, when the West was still the only bloc with access to advanced microelectronics. It will not work against modern states with significant primary and secondary industries. We unironically need to go back to Cold War-style economics and bring back heavy industry by blocking all trade with the East.

True, but a direct war between superpowers is rare and hasn't happened in 80 years. We're going to just be fighting proxy wars in foreseeable future. Shitting out expendable systems for export is more important in those scenarios. If the West had the capacity to produce 20x more shit like GMLRS rockets and 155mm shells the ukies would unironically be in Moscow by now.

i never said a single fucking word about "jews" you dirtbag

I asked you why a NON-nato nation like israel, who has no legally binding defense pacts with the US, who is a waging an offensive war on 7 fronts they chose, would receive the f35s and carrier strike groups,
when
a nation being invaded by a nuclear super-power, who is backed by a 52 nation coalition pledging support for 'as long as it takes' DOES NOT recieve f35's and air-craft carriers

wouldnt that speed up the whole
>"for as long as it takes"
part?

explain to me why this is reality

>>62896713
>I'm talking about the actual level of capability we're getting for the tax money you pay.
lmfao zero%
0%
FUCKING ZERO PERCENT, is what youre getting for the tax money, specifically
>>
>>62896568
> what legal framework binds that agreement?
None?
Why do you think the US has to be legally bound to support Israel?
>>
>>62896738
> would receive the f35s and carrier strike groups,
Because the US considers them a major ally?
And because the US wants to sell the F-35 to them?
>>
>>62896738
>who is backed by a 52 nation coalition pledging support for 'as long as it takes' DOES NOT recieve f35's
one might wonder...
maybe most of those nations are not interested in Ukraine winning, just hurting Russia as much as possible while printing some money to increase their own MICs capabilities...
>>
>>62896738
The US considers Israel a major non NATO ally. Thats why, we told you multiple times over.
>>
>>62896752
>Why do you think the US has to be legally bound to support israel?
it doesnt, and i never said it did
the US has neither binding security agreements or any legal framework with either israel or ukraine so what is the reason behind the disparate and outrageously damaging difference in support that israel recieves that ukraine doesnt?

nothing is preventing the US from supporting ukraine in an identical matter as israel, yet it chooses not to, despite the far more precarious state of ukraines situation (invaded by nuclear super power) vs israel (optionally invading all of its geopolitical neighbors)

>>62896763
israel already has f35's has already ordered more and the US and the totality of europe have pledged support for
>"AS LONG AS IT TAKES"
some have even signed legal agreements to the effect^

so how long does "IT" take?
what is "IT" anyway?
and why, (given there are no legal documents preventing it) has ukraine recieved a carrier strike group to assist in suppressing Russian air attacks?
fabbing has been devastating, and even a token few f35 sorties could have deleted the capability....right?

ok but literally none of those things happened, and in both cases, it was the opposite
Russia is now a larger, FAR more advanced adversary than it ever was, with a booming economy recognized by every financial crediting system in the world

meanwhile, western MIC's are floundering, with the majority of them in the red, or even down Year-over-Year
what you say is anathema to actual reality

>>62896790
and the US and europe have pledged support to ukraine for 'as long as it takes', and pooled together, the world has given ukraine more money and equipment than any nation or 'defense project' in the history of mankind, and faster than any other aid-agreement post ww2

its paradox after paradox

Idk anon I feel pretty good about the absurdly capable portfolio of PGMs, the multiple nuclear powered CSGs, the most competent air force in the world, and the most capable nuclear deterrent force in the world. I pay more in income tax each year than you probably make, and there's definitely a lot of waste in government but on the mil side there is at least something to show for it.
>>
>>62896922
Also, unless the US decides to send carriers up north, it can’t actually send carriers anywhere close to Russia because carriers aren’t allowed in the Black Sea

There’s no smuggling involved, just buying normally from suppliers in countries which don’t participate in the sanctions. There IS smuggling operations for unique / highly specialized parts but for bulk commodities and common parts, ie stuff you can buy from Mouser / DigiKey like those gyros is all normal above-board exports. I’m sure those suppliers charge a markup compared to Mouser but it’s probably not crazy because Russia can always go to a different supplier.

Have any of you dimwits consider that a part of supporting Israel is to make they don’t fall into the orbit of a major competitor like China?

By all metrics people would typically use, yes. The West is experiencing an increasingly exponential decline. You might be insulated from this if you're say a government/DoD employee with a housing stipend, but for everyone else their disposable income is mostly gone and any aspirations beyond surviving paycheck to paycheck are long dead. You can try to handwave and dismiss the reality of every working person's life away by dusting off some Cold War era propaganda but it's long lost its effect on all but the most braindead of the population.

>Why would you put an ammo dump in the bottom of a crater?
On a long enough timeline, most ammo dumps are craters.

It's the life cycle of ammo, it's dug from craters, formed into a temporary state, stored in a concrete lined crater and then taken out and transported to a landscape of craters and then fired off to give birth to a new crater of its own.
It's beautiful really.

>a sensor package in it
>with AI powered by a 3090 TI for like $10k
You'd have to be a pretty ancient hacker to know this story but one of the very first forms of malware actually caused physical destruction of servers.
It used low-level control code to manually rotate a hard drive 180° and then stop, and then it reversed direction and did the same thing. It did this a few dozen times a second until the vibrations tore the hard drive or the motherboard or the case apart.

This is nothing compared to the g-force and level of vibrations that would be experienced by the electronics inside an ATACMS.
