Rimfire General. Post whatever.
>>
Does anybody have experience with the Savage 64? I think they’re around $150, I might pick one up.
>>
I'm looking for good deals on 22lr
I also would like some 710fps shorts and tracer rounds.
Any places having good sale, preferably with free shipping
>>
My pmr-30 likes this stuff the best

why the fuck that over a 10-22
>>

NTA but if you're a leaf, the 10/22 is the only rimfire rifle that is restricted to 10rd mags, so Savage 64s are pretty popular here
>>
Every paycheck, I would buy a 550 bulk pack of Federal 22 LR and a 15 pack of Winchester 00, $8.97 & $6.97. Does anyone else remember? I do.
>>
>>62909570
It’s cheaper than the 10/22 and I’m in MA so a lot of the good stuff is restricted. I like most 22s anyways so wondering if people had good experiences with this one.
>>62909796
I only got the bricks at maybe $15-$20. Think I’ve got around 5k rounds of 22lr in the cellar.

My Ounce finally stopped functioning at 1,600 rounds without cleaning lol

The bolt was sticking to the back for a second or two then slipping forward and the sluggishness eventually started causing every round to fail to eject. It wasn't very fun to clean

SGAmmo is selling CCI Quiet 710 pretty cheap. You either have to buy a case or add a box to another order to qualify for free shipping ($200+)

My Covid purchase so I could shoot cheap. Might get a heritage some day just so I can shoot .22 mag. It’s so weird that Ruger couldn’t make these compatible with magnum cylinders.

Yeah I assumed something existed by now. But I’m not spending 300+ on another .22 single action. I’d rather just pick up a meme heritage. I do however want a mk. IV. For me I think the mk.IV is one of the sexiest guns, let alone .22s, of all time.
>>
>>62914310
I own a MKIV 22/45 light and it's a slick little pistol. My wife actually claims it as "her" gun. If I had a do-over though I'd probably get a standard over a 22/45. I have hogue grips on it now, but I held a thumbrest grip at gun show and it felt like it was made for my hands. Nobody that I know of makes thumbrest grips for the 22/45

Majestic made ones at some point, I'm sure somebody else does

Like these?
>>
>>62916066
I know the 22/45 is cheaper and had cool 1911 style grips, but I just don’t like it. I would know the whole time that I pussied out and bought the cheap imitation.

Lub me sum .22
>>
>>62918360
Its comfy to shoot. Tbh if i could go back id get the s&w victory. Ruger sets the standard for .22 target pistols. You want better you gotta go with volquartsen or gucci yuro shit. But the victory felt great in my hands was more ergonomic and there was one with a threaded bull barrel at my lgs for 399. Woodacoodashooda.
>>
>>62919979
The victory is a good shooter, but they suck to take apart. I guess right about as sucky as a buckmark, but I've seen the barrel screws be so tight from the factory you think you're gonna snap it taking it off.
