Very good concept for SHORAD. The guns are sort of useless but the missile system is very strong. How so? Simple (ie cheap) missile system. SHORAD like this doesn’t need high-performance missiles with advanced multi-mode seekers. Just a simple rocket booster attached to a warhead, radio and flight control mechanism. At such close range against low-performance threats it’s all you need. I bet the missiles cost next to nothing, and that’s the best part of the system. After they got programmed to handle small UAVs and drones they seem to be doing a great job.
