Soon™
I got 3 Sig P365 10 round magazine. One of them when full of bullets makes a rattling noise when shaken and that is driving me crazy. I tried messing the springs and have had no luck. Is this just a normal thing?
>>64290830Here is a picture of the gun. I just put this red dot on it yesterday.
>>64290791>You are hated. im not a weirdo racist guy so no, im not hated.
>>64290850Oh, then you're still hated then.
>>64290850Begone, lefty/pol/
>>64290850It doesn't work like that, anon, you don't have to be racist to be hated, it's up to someone else to hate you for being you
>>64290830No stack is perfectly uniform so there'll inevitably be a cartridge that isn't friction locked. I wouldn't worry about it>>64290850Neither was Kirk, you dipshit
>>64290861Sorry about this senpai.
>a man with an infographic and a folder full of twitter screencaps told me its us or them!
>>64290908>No stack is perfectly uniform so there'll inevitably be a cartridge that isn't friction locked. I wouldn't worry about itThanks! I actually replaced the spring because before the bullets were jamming. So I guess I went from too tight to too loose.
>>64290913It is. Someone just shot up a wedding while yelling free Palestine yesterday.
>>64290830lay the mag flat on a table, get a rubber hammer and give it a smackeroo, try and make it a little skinnier. It might be a 9 round mag after that but it'll shut the fuck up.
What torque did you all use on your optics screws?Did you scrub the threads off with acetone and reapply your own threadlocker?
>>64290940Usually hand tight with a tool, but otherwise 15 inch pounds for 4-40 and 30 for 6-32. With VC-3 Vibratite, following the instructions, if you use any other thread locker you might be retarded.
>>64290922at a country club in new hampshire, do you identify as a wealthy east-coaster?
>>64290923Don’t do this
>>64290940>What torque did you all use on your optics screws?I'm not using a torque wrench on them...lolI just tightened them down as much as I could. I reapplied blue loctite over the existing stuff.
>>64290958I wasn't planning to.
>>64290949>30 in/lbs for 6-36Sweet jaysus for real?I did 15in/lbs on everything and my optic still worked itself loose.
>>64290969>>30 in/lbs for 6-36>Sweet jaysus for real?okay just read the spec from trijicon, maybe that is why my allen key fucking turned into that twister candy getting it off 6-32 can withstand much more than 15 inch pounds without snapping, 4-40 is something that'll snap easy
>>64290921>I went from too tightHad the same issue with a Springfield XD magazine that couldn't even be loaded to capacity! Keep us posted, anon>>64290955NTA but KYS, you disengious cunt>>64290940I don't have any pistol optics to worry about fastening in the first place TBQH with you
>>64290955>you'll get shot saying very milk toast political opinions>you'll get shot at a non political event over a so called genocide across the world >you'll get shot for having a trump flag on your lawn>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVYgV3FDFb8>you'll get shot going to a funeral >https://youtu.be/3Xz2Xm0Py3I>and people will cheer when you die because you don't think men can become women, george floyd was a drug addict, etc
>>64290995You'll get shot at just for being a mentally stable and rational white male in 2025.These faggots still want to act like we owe them something, while they shoot at our people...
>>64290991>disengious cuntone schizo going on a shooting is a sign that you're hated? was paddock an even bigger sign? dylan roof? or were those /yourguys/reply "Yes." to really show me whos boss.
>>64291002what handgun do you carry? I was carrying a .45/10mm because it's based but I'm going back to 9mm double stacks...
>>64290995>very milk toast political opinionslol this is the third time today i've heard someone call kirk 'milqtoast' like dude you didnt even know who he was two weeks ago.
>>64291010Just a concealed 9mm but I feel like I need to start carrying a full sized 9mm with a backup .380 on my ankle or something.
Is this a good deal? All my handguns are in 9mm and been thinking about dipping my toes into 1911 and heard this brand is the best for budget intro 1911. It was between this and RIA but the Tisas seem to be better finished.
>>64291015among the right, people didn't like Charlie because he was too pro israel, he was too compassionate to trans people, wasn't racist, etc >>64291019Tisas do have better finish, isn't a cast frame, doesn't use MIM parts, but don't expect perfection and perfect feeding of hollow points. It'll feed ball correctly.
>>64290791Well the fireman was lifted and I finally got some time so I figured I’d try this with something truly wild.
>>64291049Sadly after the first 10 slow shots and then not getting 8 I doubt I’d have made the fast ones.
>>64291027Don't need perfection or hollow points, gonna order this soon then. I heard sometimes they go on sale during the holidays but I'm not waiting a couple months just to save 30 bucks.
>>64291064PSA would almost perpetually have them at 300 bucks but I think it wouldn't come with the extra grips
>>64291057But it was a fun excuse to get out and shoot the bushwacker. Also my target stand was not up to the challenge the first center shot blew through 2 layers 2x10 sandwiching 2 layers of staggered 2x4 and 2x6 with all of it screwed together and cracked it in half…
>>64291057>>64291077god I want a handcannon but I do not want to deal with the hearing damage or the early arthritisafter shooting 200 rounds of 10mm a day or two later my hands start aching
>>64291077Backside of that target…
>>64291080I screwed up my hearing a long time ago with guitars and amps as a kid…. The arthritis is gonna happen one way or another with my job. It’s worth the fun anon. And I’m at not like you go out and shoot hundreds of big bore rounds in a go… 15 bushwacker rounds and 20 460 xvr rounds (before I shot my other target holder apart) plus 21 rounds of 10mm to test loads was plenty for me today.
>>64291147*its not like you go out and shoot hundreds of big bore rounds in a go… Autocorrect is drunk…
Gentlemen,This has been a great week>got a Jericho 941>got a Smith and Wesson Shield Plus>got a PPKI haven't shot the jericho yet but the Shield and especially the PPK were very pleasant shooters.
>>64291165Nice anon. I shot a ppk/s in 380 and really liked it, classy as fuck guns. Also really like how it breaks down for cleaning.
>>64290842Looks like shit
>>64291191it's not bad, but I need a card to hold the trigger guard in place
>>64291290When I did it I just shoved 2 fingers into the guard.
Niggers, can I get the qual target at the Bass Pro Shops? I got some shootin that needs accomplishin. I hope you like last minute quals, I still got 9 more days to do this
>>64291481it's a standard NRA B8 target, really just the B8C (repair center, only the 7-10 rings) is needed if you aren't ass at shooting it can also be printed you can get a pack of 100 B8Cs for 20 dollars from amazon
>>64290839>BHPanonYeah...I like the sound of that.
>>64291574it was either that or hipster.
Are there any other military/police/fbi drills with real parameters like this one that we can do next?
>>64291630alot of them, but this was something that hg used to do a few years ago that's being revived
>>64291595>hipsterBut that's not a cz???
>>64290842>>64291240Sorry you feel that way. I like it. Was $561 out the door at Dunhams.

>>64291660Return to tradition. Actually go shooting…
https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/threads/is-a-12-in-barrel-45-70-any-good.2451023/post-20188896>2500 fpe out of a 12" barrelI must know. Is it true?
>>64291901/k/ shoots? Next thing you're going to tell me is that /v/ plays videogames
>>64291920Probably. But only if your loading with the right powder…. 45-70 is usually not loaded for a shorter barrel, but if you pick the right powder you could probably do it.. I was getting 2600 ish out of 375 gn loaded 500 bushwacker out of a 10 inch barrel…. And when I was playing around with 444 marlin in my lone eagle I was getting 505 gn hardcasts up at 1650 and 300 gn jacketed sierras at 2000 out of a 14 inch barrel…. 45-70 has a lot of capacity for it caliber and if you have a stronger newer action you can take advantage of that in a way the trapdoor rifles can’t.
>>64291955My mind isn't straight right now.Talk some sense into me. Lever-actions aren't viable truck guns, right? It has to be a semi-auto.
>>64292003Depends on the threat model.
>>64292003>viable truck gunHow much $ would you lose if someone stole it out if your truck to rob a 7/11?Thats what it comes down to imo and a 45-70 lever gun isn't cheap
>>64292003I wish anon. I love big bore stuff, but unless you can tell me you honestly expect to need to deal with something 45-70 is required to handle…. Then I’d say your better off getting a beater AR that won’t be the end of the world if stolen, and won’t piss you off if you have to use it and the local sheriff locks it up in the pokey pending investigation.. also unless you planned on reloading for it you can afford to practice with an ar a lot more…. Or really just about any common military chambered rifle if ar’s aren’t to your flavor…
>>64292003Truck gun, something compact, semi-auto, and cheap. It's the most likely gun to get stolen, so you're literally better off with a full size 10mm Glock with a dot than a $5700 gucci suppressed SBR or a $4,000 staccato. No, you don't want a fucking $2,000 lever gun as a truck gun, which will be tough to maneuver and maybe difficult to cock in the confined quarters of your vehicle if you have to shoot out.
>>64291954according to the speds within this shithole, 99% of k owns no guns
>>64292065>I wish anon. I love big bore stuff, but unless you can tell me you honestly expect to need to deal with something 45-70 is required to handle….See, I actually don't know how to model this.I've never shot anyone, so I don't know what's actually needed to beat an assailant who does even basic preparation by getting any kind of plate.>>64292068This is the gun seeping into every cranny of my brain. Two feet long, 13" barrel, only ~$1000 online. Same price as the AR-like I was looking at. Same verdict?
>>64292098Sadly the low skill answer is going to be “30 round mags and occasional practice will overcome armor better than buying a fuckhuge lever gun you shoot once in a while”. If you can get rounds on target and keep doing so they’re not gonna magically tank it while effectively shooting back.
>>64292112Assuming equal amounts of practice for both and a willingness to reload, how does that work out?
>>64292121Probably about the same at that point, but do you really think you’d practice regularly? Also you still run into the gun being expensive and potentially easily lost to you. Realistically though if you put the time in with any gun your better off than just buying one and not practicing. Maybe try shooting one before you commit to regularly running 50 rounds of 45-70 through something like that…. What’s your actual shooting experience?
>>64292153>Probably about the same at that point, but do you really think you’d practice regularly?Do the boresight training tools work for that? I don't think my schedule would vary much in either case, so low amounts of training.>What’s your actual shooting experience?Beyond small-caliber pistols, nearly none.
>>64291009>>64290877
>>64290940Check the manual, don't assume. Do not go over 15 inch pounds unless specifically directed by the optic manufacturerMOST specify 12-15 inch pounds. I think only my Deltapoint Micros called for more (25)Acetone should not affect thread locker, it doesn't do anything to my Loctite. Still have to physically scrub, scrape and brush it off. There's no need to remove factory thread locker, typically you can reuse the pre-cured type a few times at least
>>64292164Honestly nothing else I can tell you is going to help nearly as much as you going out and trying to shoot a rifle in a non 22lr caliber. There’s a bit of understanding here that you need to experience so you can think about what you want to do and the realities of what you want to use.
>>64292173Thanks. I'll return to the topic when this cartridge stops smooching my ear.
>>64292098I own both a BFR and a bigass cowboy rifle and I can tell you it's a terrible fucking idea. That mares leg is going to hold 3+1, is going to be much harder to control than a revolver OR a guide gun, and is going to be exceptionally unpleasant to practice with. If you want big bore shit for some fantasy plan about needing to shoot through a future astronaut convention get a full size revolver, some speed loaders, and get good.
>>64290842Erm, anon– did you mean to render your dovetail sights completely useless with that solid platform of a mount?>>64291019>TisasThose are known to have a "break in period" and shit the bed after 1000 rounds https://youtu.be/UGfyJ20jqRM?t=439>>64291009>were those /yourguys/No, they weren't. Now fuck off back to Discord/Twitter/Bluesky
>>64292201>Shoots 7 rounds (a magazine)>Slide locks backWhat was the malfunction?
>>64292225Look very carefully at the front of that pistol on the 7th round.
>>64292225metallurgical defect, front of the slide broke off, happened to an entire batch of stainless models>>64292201post any evidence of their being a official break in period >trench grenade
>>64292260>>64292247Damn. I'd be a little unnerved.
Hello channel four handgun enthusiasts!
>>64292273I've only seen it happen to one batch of stainless models which were all recalled
>>64292185I like big bore because it retains energy well while in the air. It's a distance thing.
>>64292285I like big bore because explosions are fun, and big explosions are funnerer…
>>64292201TURK SUBHUMANS LOSE AGAINT*URUS AND CANIK STAY TAKING L'S!
>>64292288True.
>political tourists are getting guns and shitting up firearms enthusiast spaces because they're big mad at not their teamgreat, awesome, I foresee no issues with this.
>>64291019That's an average deal. That's the cerakoted one that goes on sale for $300 sometimes at PSA, not the parkerized Armed Services Family remington rand clone.I have no issues with my tisas ASF after 2100 rounds. I had to profile the magazine catch and the disconnect just a little bit but that took 30 minutes. Love this gun
>>64292342NIGGER, Turkroaches are subhuman and their weapons are built for subhumans. I'm not saying it's wrong to buy unamerican, but I am saying that you get what you expect with a weapon made by subhuman slavechildren
Any anons have experience with Pelican cases? are they worth the money? good alternatives? I don't need anything super crazy just looking to keep a few handguns in it and maybe some shit for a random range trip.
>>64292418If you want the Best Buy name brand but literally any knockoff is good enough for carrying handguns to the range I use two used pelican laptop cases that I converted to red velvet that I use for two handguns each in my backpack.
>>64292418Nanuk is pretty good and slightly less expensive. Harbor freight Apache cases will be fine for impact resistance, but I doubt their water resistance.
All Pelican cases and knockoffs on the smaller side for pistols sized objects (v200) are so close in price you should just drop the extra ~$15 on a Pelican
>>64292428>>64292429>>64292436Thank you. I'll look at those, I doubt i'll be needing to fly so a non-TSA approved alt should work. I just don't want my shit to get damaged if it should somehow get crushed ect
I don't need to shoot targets to prove my worth.
