A summary of the audio between the Minister of Public Safety and a constituent

>no compensation for parts
>a collection agency may be used (jeet security)
>no compensation for your firearm based on it's actual value. It is a flat rate based on model
>the minister offered to pay the constituent personally (HOLY FUCK)
>Gary admits local police may not enforce laws written into the criminal code
>Gary admits he's still lacking knowledgeon the whole thing
>cape breton is the kick off
>they're still looking for people to help conduct the confiscation
>Carney gave Gary the mandate to do this work and "put an end to it"
>Gary admits he would focus on actual criminals and blames Quebec for the focus
>Gary admits a shit ton of time has been spent trying to work out how to do it
>GARY ACKNOWLEDGES THERE WILL BE MASS NON-COMPLIANCE AND OFFERS TO PAY HIS CONSTITUENTS BAIL
>Gary admits the police don't have the resources to do this
>Gary admits his budget is capped at $742mafter that it’s done
>Gary keeps calling it voluntary
>Gary admits again he wouldn't do this confiscation and would focus on illegal firearms being punished much more harshly, but Quebec needs it.

I wish Tracey would have just dropped the audio and not her commentary

Yes. He is part of the organized crime world taking over our country.
Good news: none of our guns are going to Ukraine, so at least that hilarious cope is off the table.
Bad news: they are all going to organized crime to be used against us.
Silver lining: if he really does go through with random jeet security guards trying to go door to door to take guns, we can just buy some "security" hats from the dollar store and start raiding boomers with 12.* prohibited licences under the guise of public safety.
>Seriously, if random people show up and demand your prohibs, how is anyone supposed to comply without breaking the law? If you refuse entry, do they have the right to force entry? Don't we have the right (and clear responsibility) to prevent random people from getting 'assault rifles'? Do we just call the Police on ourselves? What the fuck is this shit?

Most likely outcome: Nothing gets confiscated and it stays forever in limbo. Prohibited for use, until regime change.
Most likely outcome (optimistic): Nothing gets confiscated and we are "allowed" to use them within previous classification, until regime change.
Ideal outcome: It all gets scrapped and we rvtvrn to pre Trudeau (both) laws along with pistols.

According to the audio they're basically just going to let the amnesty expire (eventually; they still need to extend it one more time) and whatever happens happens since they desperately want to move on from this mess. Making civilians fight the police is exactly the sort of dynamic an organized crime group would be overjoyed to orchestrate. A major issue is the apparent obliviousness by our police services that they are being manipulated into a position of complete social isolation. The only people who benefit from this new dynamic are the people turning our country into a mafia drug front.

This is what they're going to do. They're going to follow the exact same playbook as covid among gun owners. First they'll set a new amnesty date, for serious this time, making sure to make it a news item that every non gun owner retard sees. They'll make up some bullshit to tell the normies that makes sense to boomers and cucks.

Then they'll begin pumping out fear propganda for gun owners to see in the news

>new rcmp squad set up
>were sers guise
>you'll get 6 months in jail/criminal record
>no job for you slave, hope you like tent cities
>just move to us bro
>gun loiscene revoked, no enjoying any other fans

Emails from the CFP will continue to flow into you're inbox informing you of the coming changes with, increased intensity, warning you of youre "privileges" and responsibilities. This will continue right up until the day amnesty ends.

Then after amnesty ends depending on how many didn't comply they'll decide what they're actually going to do.
>>
give up your guns white man, youre a threat to society!

Could this gun thing be the thing that breaks the camels back. Its a full display of just how stupid the liberals are, an overly complex messy "solution" to fix a problem that doesn't exist, to simply please people who don't matter.

No one out west is going to take it, the Police aren't, gun owners aren't. It a downright infringement on personal freedom on people who didn't do anything wrong, and wastes money for no results, gun crime is just going to up regardless.

Kinda how I thought it would go. Get the ball rolling on the cucked provinces ready to go such as Nova Scotia and Quebec to buy them some time to figure out what to do next.

Now I wonder what "compensation based on model" means. Surely they are not going back to the original price list where they would be paying $1,337 for any AR and $2,600 for a Norinco M14, especially now they have a vendor price list thanks to CSAAA helping them out with the retail buyback.

>>
>>64292649
The AR thing is so complicated, there is such a variance in the values, those norinco AR's were as cheap as $500 and some of the high end builds could be 6K or more. They are going to have to hire appraisers, which will cost even more money.
>>

>>
>>64292742
>>64292771
It's so much worse than that. AR-15 values are capped at 1500$, you need two government approved apraisers to testify in court (something both extremely expensive and opens appraisers to legal liability; something they won't want to do), and even then the price adjustment is capped at a maximum of +50%. Vendors with 5000$ AR-15s are already getting shafted by this. It's not even pretending to be fair compensation, it's outright legalised theft.

I’d like to visit Canada soon for a couple days, i’ll be touring on my bike and camping in bear country on the way so will be armed with a handgun. Is it just completely prohibited to bring a handgun to Canada under any circumstances? My state doesnt do licenses, the only official document i have that guarantees me the basic human right to self defense is my birth certificate. are there other guns i could bring that are legal, like a pump shotgun? It would have to be open carry b/c its too long for a motorcycle trunk.

also, recommend me what to bring for bartering up to the duty free limit
>carton of smokes
>2 magnums of wine
>24 cans of beer (i’m thinking Alchemist, can sell for $5 a can even in the US)
>40oz of hard liquor

>>
>>64294266
>Is it just completely prohibited to bring a handgun to Canada under any circumstances?
Short answer yes, and even if you did get it approved you couldn't bring it camping. It would be brought from your temporary residence, directly to a range, and directly back.
>>
>>64294224

This is what we’ve been waiting 5 years for. The crescendo of a grand cluster fuck
. This leak is going to create questions that no one is ready to answer, Gary is probably being shipped to a Diplomatic post in Estonia as we speak.
The only way this budget cap and blanket pricing model survives is if they really do change something that makes it actually voluntary, otherwise is a legal quagmire under “fair compensation”. What an amazing shitstorm.
>>
>>64294266
You can only bring a handgun if you're going to transport it from one approved place (your house, a gunsmith, or a range) to another approved place and you need an Authorisation To Transport to do that. You aren't allowed to just have a handgun on you when camping.

The pump shotgun will probably be legal but you have to follow storage requirements and some parks do not allow you to bring guns.
>>
>>64294266
Best you could bring that's legal in both countries is either a Mare's Leg (not the super short 21" ones) or a Shockwave style shotgun.
>>

Why yes, it absolutely would be. In fact, even discussing the idea completely destroyed their economy. Everyone's in the GTA now because Montreal was at risk of becoming part of another country for 20 years. Companies concluded that the rump state of Quebec (The First Nations would never have gone along with separation) would be far less lucrative than the rest of Canada.
This is why I hate the Alberta seperatist movement. Their tar sands on treaty land won't save them from going down the same path if they choose to play Russian Roulette with their children's future like the PQ did.

I've been hearing that a 22 LR is actually better for survivalism because of the ability to carry several times more ammunition for the same weight and it can still be lethal to game and other predators, do you think that's a legitimate argument?

Yes, just git guud.
Largest grizzly burr kill was done with a 22, just gotta be a sneaky indian.
It would be shit for stopping somthing coming at you tho
>>
>>64295540
Yeah 22LR is great - the argument against it however is that the ammunition itself is less reliable. This isn’t so much an issue with a perfectly clean gun in controlled circumstances, but they’re very very prone to misfire compared to centrefire cartridges (mind you the chances are still slim!). They also do pretty terribly with dirty guns as opposed to centrefire.
22LR is an amazing utility cartridge for survival, but has inherent disadvantages baked in that no amount of modern powder or projectile advancement can really “solve”
>>
>>64295540
So long as you dont plan on killing anything larger than small deer, and even that's iffy.
But yes, you can carry about 50x 22lr rounds in the volume occupied by a single 12 gauge shell.

Water displacement test would be the most technically correct. but not practically correct because the round arent all fused together into a cylinder, there is wasted airspace no matter how you stack them.

But yeh i am still interested in the results.
>>
>>64295635
I'll probably tape a paper tube around a 12 gauge shell then see how many 22s i can stack inside the empty tube.
Should i use 12 gauge 2-3/4 or 3" for the test, and 22LR or 22Shorts?
>>
>>64295656
22lr and 2¾" 12ga would be the most common picks.
But i am also interested in 3" and 3½" 12ga.
I personally do carry 22 short but dont think many other do. but if you want th test to be comprehensive obv you should do all of the above.
>>
>>64295667
I don't have any guns chambered for 3-1/2" or the shells, so i'll skip that.
But i'll do a standard 2-3/4vs22lr comparison and an extreme case 3"vs22short comparison.
>>

It’s about 10-12 22LRs per 12 gauge. If you account for a #4 buckshot having about 18-24 pellets traveling with similar muzzle energy to 22LR, and 00 Buckshot has around 12 projectiles with similar muzzle energy to a .380 ACP, 12 gauge actually has more firepower for the space, just not necessarily more trigger pulls per space.
I’d personally choose 12 gauge as a do anything gun especially considering in real world scenarios any defensive shooting usually only meaningful uses 4 or so rounds total. It’s not like tarkov where you’ll want hundreds of rounds on your person at all times.
>>
>>64295718
You can't legally carry a handgun in Canada unless it's pre 1898 manufacture. Carrying an NR shotgun on your back might technically be legal, but you are 100% getting the cops called on you and they will fuck your year up right good/ possibly just shoot you.

I don't get this. Even if Quebec is not pro-gun, gun restriction aren't at all key political issues, to any demographic. There were white buses moving illegals around during 2021-22. I have video of 2 bus loads being dropped off in my own small rural town.
We dont have a bus station here, so they dropped them off at a strip mall where an NGO's office had been turned into a "welcome center". It was cool here and they were still wearing flip-flops and other sand people attire. That was before we knew what exactly was going on.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/migrants-niagara-falls-cornwall-roxham-1.6378382
I was clued in to the Canadian GardaWorld connection from an Irish nationalists article that made the claim that's who was running the buses in Ireland
If you DDG "unmarked migrant bus" you'll find lots of websites talking about them. Including one from the notorious NGO, HIAS.
During both the Biden admin, and the Trump admin, Garda has been involved with their migrant logistics, the only thing that has changed is the media spin. For democrats Garda is a private concierge.

Garda is a Canadian private security firm. They run armored cars etc. They already have staff that are licensed to carry, and they have the facilities to store and transport them. Theyre not going around kicking in doors. They'll be doing logistics, which is the biggest hurdle to get things off the ground. Previously the feds floated using Canada Post lmao.

Are you sure you are not just an idiot? Garda Síochána is the Irish police force and has nothing to do with GardaWorld private security firm, who have minimal European operations.
>>

Yes, I know Garda are Irish police. Garda is also an international security firm. You can just google around and find articles yourself, but they have a presence on almost every continent.
There's plenty of articles with GardaWorld contracted to move migrants around the world. They're not the only company involved, but theyre probably the biggest.

If you listen to the conversation you'll notice that Gary was talking about how the government wanted this all to blow over so that they could direct their main focus on Simon Fraser's law reforms. Clearly that's what Carney is actually thinking about since Simon Fraser is the more well-connected and influential politican, which to me suggests that Gary was picked because he's a jeet (affirmative action) and because he's not Provost (who would have kicked up more of a fuss).

Basically he walked into this completely blind because they just needed a warm body to fill the Public Safety seat, and Gary stupidly thought it was his lucky day when he got the call to become a government minster. Now he has to worry about his tenant blasting him the next time he shows up to collect the rent.

I was able to stack fourteen 22LR shells in a paper tube the exact dimensions of a 12 gauge 2-3/4" shell, with room leftover to place two 22Shorts on top for sixteen rounds total.
For the 12 gauge 3" dimension tube, i was able to stack a whopping twenty eight 22Short shells, with the tips sticking above the paper ever so slightly. 12 gauge overshot cards were used for stacking.

Those rims appear to be slightly overstepping their bounds. Though, i assume that could be minimized if you were to flip half of them upside down.

I just can’t fathom why Cape Breton? Sure like most maritime authorities they’re corrupt as fuck and a bunch of backward incestuous rednecks. But Cape Breton is also one of the best places on Earth to run an insurgency.

>rugged terrain inland
>water access all around the peninsula and within it also
>people already see themselves as a distinct homogenous subculture (Capers) seperate even from the rest of their province much less the country.

I lived there for several years and the people there are a different breed. I cannot see the gun confiscation going well there. And it’s one of the few places outside Alberta where I would fully expect some local to just shoot some of these corrupt treasonous ‘police’.

Eventually they'll come for the SKS too, but they'll probably leave in a provision for natives to keep and use theirs.
Poly has made it quite clear they want every single gun banned, no exceptions. They're not even fine with hunters owning basic shotguns or rifles, they literally want zero civilian firearms ownership.

The one good thing about it all is that it's voluntary, Carney already said this on film. People can just choose to retain their guns if they feel like it, there's really no other option aside from people willingly handing them in.

>>
>>64299002
>>64299040
yeah they both definitely said it was voluntary, Carney even went on to say it's not going to be any kind of confiscation, it will simply be a case of being being able to hand over their guns for "compensation".

as we all know the compensation will be well below fair market value, not accounting for anything like inflation, upgraded parts, accessories, etc. so essentially people have the chance to give up their personal property for a fraction of its worth...or else...who knows

either the government doesn't have a plan B for when people don't comply, or their plan B is so heinous, violent, and dictatorial they're purposely not announcing it until they see how many people comply out of fear of the unknown.

sounds like a good government i definitely want to trust.
>>
Any actual attempt at confiscation will be the end of law enforcement in Canada.

Sure some people will, but not enough because of the way they've structured the program. People with prohibs need to proactively email the government and the government needs this it happen within the next 3 months in order to try and convince police forces to get on board for picking up the guns next year. Meanwhile the amnesty continues to be extended for another year so people will just sit on their hands and take a wait-and-see approach which makes police forces more wary because they won't see a need to participate if the people with guns aren't going to play ball.

What the government should have done is release the e-mail program nationwide immediately and extend the amnesty only to guns that people voluntarily register for collection as an incentive to participate, but they clearly are continue to try and avoid confrontation.

Yes. I have a 930, not the 940, and with the Or3gun parts I can go 1500 rounds between cleaning. The 940 is supposed to be even cleaner running so that bodes very well. The 940 is basically the 930 with all the upgrades from factory that people were putting on the 930 anyway.
Mine ran amazing out of the box but I hear some semi autos need a break-in-period, so your first 100 or so rounds should be buckshot, then you’ll be able to shoot birdshot and light target load easily.
Mossbergs are trusted by the US army , and the 940 is used by a bunch of police & swat teams. They’re overall good shit, or just buy a mossy 88 and blast shit in the woods if you want incredible bang for buck.

Really appreciate this thanks, was looking into semi's last night but idk anything about them and reliability is my number 1 concern. At only 600-700 for a used 930 I think this is my choice if its got very good reliability. I'll look up some reviews.

Most people have a hard time affording groceries because of 10 years of liberal government and still voted them in because "Trump bad"

Part of being a law abiding gun owner is abiding by the laws. Don’t need you giving the rest of us a bad name by breaking the law.

>they try the pilot
>it fails miserably
>literally spend the next two years claiming they'll try again but only ever extending amnesty again
This has happened dozens of times already, why do we suddenly think they're anymore competent now? The entire government operates on "make a promise now and then do nothing but repromise it the next election year"
>>
>>64299830
Inspect what? My penis? You'll find it's rather turgid this morning.
>>
>>64299840
i would never break the law and never have, i love complying. you tell me to do something and i do it, no questions asked.

I think they're hoping to kill the gun industry in Canada. Force smaller businesses to close up shop as they won't have much to sell anymore, leaving only a handful of big box cuck stores that sell a million other things too.

As far as I understand it's a 'capped buyback' meaning once they hit the $742M number they are not paying anyone another penny but you still have to hand it in.

Trump has more power over the average Canadian voter than any Canadian party or policy. He could tell all the boomers to not jump off a bridge and they'll all just do it out of spite.

Wrong.

You can make a slamfire rifle out of steel pipes. I will register 5000 of them and then buy a house. They can go to Home Depot to collect them from the plumbing aisle.
>>
>>64299821
Somehow the stupidest fucking scheme in the world just gets stupider.
>Time for moving day penis inspection boys. I am sure the police are going to love being told to follow random uhauls and try to spot rectangular boxes.
