Given the size of it I doubt you would be so lucky.Also, the oil tends to weaken the wood which is quite bad at the crossbolt. I would put money on that crossbolt either being loose or the wood around it about to fail. You might be looking at having to replace the furniture.Then again, I am just an anon on the internet and I don't even claim to have any special justification for saying that (I am not a gunsmith).
