GRIPEN BROS WE FEASTING!
>3+ years for one Gripen, 150 after 15-20 yearsRussia won't even last that long. This is like the G11 all over again. Saab is such a failure
>>64429720Now without crying, faggot.
Trump says no after Putin says that it's a dangerous escalation.
>>64429720I'm guessing SAAB will go into overdrive and replace the current -E ones in current as they are sent over to Ukraine, then send every 1 in 2 or 3 they produce to Ukraine after they filled up swedish stocks again.
>>64429695
>>64429716100-150 gripens over a period of 10-15 years. So around 10 Gripens per year. Not great, not terrible. Never thought we'd get to this point but saab might want to expand their factories because of the Gripen E's popularity.
>>64429731Trump has no say in anything EU related any more. He's seen as a ignorant clown at best and a dementia-riddled Putin plant at worst nowadays in the EU. Swedish weapons like CV90 and JAS39 along with various small arms will flow into Ukraine until moscow fucks right off
>>64429745If they agree and Ukraine will buy Gripen then they have to build a new factory to meet the criteria. I bet there will be a plant in Ukraine when the war is over as if everything falls in to pieces then Ukraine will be the biggest user of Gripen. I think even more than 1 factory, perhaps a big serice center as well etc, plus SAAB will probably get more info etc when it comes to drone maybe even purchase a ukie drone company.
>>64429738Probably yeah. Dripfed fighters are good but just not what is needed right now. Everything is dripfed these days. What are needed are some large transfers of NATO's 1000 F-16s
>>64429763there's like 80k US soldiers in europe. they will still listen to POTUS
>>64429840I don't even know if this is just bait or straight up shilling attempt
>>64429840Why do current "americans" use vranyo? (or are confortable with the use of vranyo)
>>64429840>Trump will invade Sweden over a Gripen dealDamn...
>>64429731>Trump says noOkay, and? Why would anyone in Sweden care?>>64429840There's exactly zero US soldiers in Sweden.
>>64429716>letter of intent
>>64429915>There's exactly zero US soldiers in Sweden.Be fair, there's probably a few expats/tourists/advisors/liaisons there.
>>64429890Miggers aren’t American. They’re wrong-color third worlders.
>>64430050Shoo shoo, s*rb
>the time of the LockMart MIC is over>the time of the SWEMIC is now!
>>64429915>Why would anyone in Sweden care?because the Gripen uses a lot of ITAR components
>>64430065Posted it again award.>>64427143Amerishills are at least as retarded as BRICS shills, curious.
>>64429763He could block the sale of engines, but that would do Swiss levels of damage to any future arms sales.
>>64430095That would nuke what little confidence the rest of the world still has left in the US administration, meaning a lot more domestic production and no more orders of F-35s or other military gear from the US. Which would in effect kill off a lot of american jobs as arms exports plummet and the US MIC having to downsizeTL;DR: Yes he could stop the engines, but it would be geopolitical suicide for the US.
>>64429716Saab is gonna be fucked right out of the market when the glorious german wings rise again! HAIL MESSERSCHMIDT! HAIL SHUBENGUFEKTAGENFLEUTZ-4! The letter salad will be stupendous.
>it would be geopolitical suicide for the USso more of the same then.
>the sheer TDS ITTSad! Many such cases!
>>64429911Oh no... How horrible....Dibs on Swedish Lapland by the wayT. Finland
>>64430137the problem is i don't think trump gives a fuck because it won't be his problem in the future
>>64429840>80k US marines siege SAAB Ranch
>>64429840and donnie will take orders straight from muscovia. Those 80k might as well be scarecrows just to decorate the scenery
>>64429791>What are needed are some large transfers of NATO's 1000 F-16sEven if you could find the political will for such an absurdly large injection of hardware, where would Ukraine get all the pilots and support personnel and infrastructure to support that kind of donation? I'm assuming they could do some level of cascade training with the existing people they have, but even so you'd still be talking about probably a decade even under ideal circumstances I would think.
>>64430137>That would nuke what little confidence the rest of the world still has left in the US administrationThe purest US vassals won't do shit especially those deep in the F-35 programme
Don’t worry russki-bros, India has announced that it’s sending mother russia the glorious 6th generation HAL Tejas!
>>64430293Much as they are benefiting from the Lend-Lease Act (of 2022), a second American Volunteer Group would be arranged if the political will existed.
>>64429745what is the usual rationale to determine if it is commercially viable to create new production lines for a jet? I feel like many eu nations could have more market success if they could shit out planes faster.
