Justin Trudeau himself would've been labelled a racist if he was conservative leader, especially after the blackface incidents. But because he was on the right team they brushed it under the rug, accepted his apology and never mentioned it again.

Does shooting a bullet, truly create gasses, or simply result in a temporary increase in pressure?
ie:
say you had a 12ga shell in your bum, and it went off, would you:
a. need to fart afterwards, because there is now more gas in your bum than there was before, and farting is the only way to get rid of it.
or
b. Not need to fart afterwards, because the gas created was only temporary, just a pressure wave, and itll quickly go away on its own.
???????

Hmm, so the SFC (Shooting Federation of Canada) will only issue exemption for 22's, but there are provincial shooting associations with authority to issue exemptions aswell, and some of them may be less strict.
ie:the BCTSA (BC Target shooting Association) is willing to issue exemption for handguns with calibers greater than .22, but you need a certified coach, and he has to sign off on your "need" for it.

To my knowlege, they have not specified exaclty what that 'loophole' is.
Do they mean they want to stop all exemptions from being issued?
Just stop new people from getting them?
Or just make them more strict? like preventing people from getting calibers greater than 22, or from getting guns that arent explicitly designed as olympic pistols?

No, with the small loop.
The 1892 is noted for its sleek, slender, elegance, its lack of unnecessary bulk. The perfection in its design, having everything it needs, and nothing it doesn't.
Putting a large loop on an 1892, is like putting 30" rims on an early gen VW beetle.

Okay, well you should've specified since 99% of doubles are full length. You have a few options, worst is probably buying a newer Turk/Brazilian gun. If you just want a cheap meme gun to blast at the range I've heard good things about the Norinco coach guns. If you want a NICE coach gun, you could also buy a good double the way I suggested above and then either chop it yourself or get a gunsmith to, legal length is 18". GNG actually makes their own coach guns, so I'm sure for a fee they'd chop anything they're selling.
>>

The big issue is that no bank will approve a mortgage on a property that's land title could literally change overnight, effectively making the lose their investment, same with any sort of industry investment. Since like 98% of BC is unceded land this case sets a precedent that pretty much everything in BC is a risky investment.
This shit could outright crash the provinces housing market.
>>
>>64498594
That's literally almost every law, cops just like picking on gun owners because the fact that you could have a gun makes them nervous and you're an easy target. Man pulled over with 3 rifles and 1000 rounds is a mass shooter to the general public when that's just a day at the range for most of us.

Courts handed over land rights to a bunch of land in Richmond to the Cowichan tribe. Land that is currently owned and occupied by various people and businesses. This has resulted in banks not being willing to renew mortgages with those clients. Now a bunch of other tribes across this shitty country have filed claims for land, some of them have been ongoing for years, some are new. This could result in the dissolution of what was known as Canada into a bunch of random tribal lands run by openly corrupt chiefs.

Everyone I've seen with that done has ended up with a jam master. Never been able to go through an entire magazine without a jam.
Which begs the question: why?
10 rounds and stripper clips just seems like the more logical way to go.
>>
>>64501170
Honestly it’s pretty meh. I’f you have an optic then yeah magazine wins but other then that not so much.
>>
>>64501170
The ammo comes in crates of 1200 rounds, all on stripper clips. The gun is designed to use those stripper clips. They sell vests for $20 that can hold 20 of said stripper clips, giving you 200 round vest set up for $20 and the price of the ammo. That's 7-10 mags worth of ammo, on your person, ready up to for $20.
With zero training you can refill the intern internal magazine of an sks in 2 seconds and be ready to go, with zero risk of jams and ZERO, I repeat ZERO, modifications to the gun or magazines required.
Never mind paying, what, $50/magazine for the (every one I've talked to or met that's done it to their sks) effort of trial and error?
I'd say the one without guns here is you, since you're completely missing the point of having a semi automatic: repeatability and reliability.
You have to be 18 to post here junior.

I dont know how to count how many points a buck is worth.
Am i supposed to count the points on both antlers, or just 1 of them?
Appenerently i am supposed to exclude the "brow tine" which just means dont count 1 of the tines.

When i goggle images "4 point buck" its in incosistent mess, showing bucks with either 4 total (2 on each antler) or with 4 on each antler.

>Learn how to handload
Yeh handloading would indeed 'fix' 'most' of the issues i have with 45lc, but not all.
>Costs more than 44mag, but only has as much power as a 357
>Availability inferior to both of them
>Trajectory and velocity also inferior to both of them
>Increased diametre results results in a gun that is either weaker, or bulkier
Even if you do handload though, its nice to be able to grab a box of factory from your local B&M, and 45lc fails at that if your local store is smaller. Also sourcing reloading supplies can be a pain. again especially if your local stores dont stock it.
>>64501235
Do you mean removable chokes?
Because a fixed full choke would fucking suck, it would destroy buck and slugs, only good for birdshot.

Improved Cylinder is the best choke, if you could only have 1, thats the best one.

#x#, pronounced as "x by y", makes it unambiguous and accounts for irregular antlers as well. In my area a "four point buck" would be a 4x4. I shot a 4x4 but I had to report it to the fishcops as a 5x5 because the eyeguards were long enough to legally be antlers in their own right.

I was mostly just wondering if the extra 11.5" of a full 30" shotgun really matter that much when it comes to accuracy and spread control. If you wanted an accurate and long range shotgun couldn't you just put a full choke on a short 18.5" barrel instead?
>>
>>64501639
anon ur jecked
>>
>>64501797
>I was mostly just wondering if the extra 11.5" of a full 30" shotgun really matter that much when it comes to accuracy and spread control.
No, barrel length does not increase the accuracy of the gun, however, it can increase the accuracy of you.
Longer guns are easier to shoot more accuratly, with iron sights or a bead. (but not with other optics)
>If you wanted an accurate and long range shotgun couldn't you just put a full choke on a short 18.5" barrel instead?
Significant choking only helps birdshot
Buck can benifit from a little bit of choke (imp cyl or modified), but is mostly reliant on the wad, and harmed by a fuill choke.
Slugs can benifit from a little choke (imp.cyl) but are harmed by modified or full chokes.
>>
>>64501797
Ive also heard legends, that thick barrel shotguns, like shockwaves/590's/A1's, are achsually more accurate (less spread) than most other shotguns with similar chokes, due to the decreased vibrations of the heavier barrels.
>>
>>64501632
I can get as much power out of my 45 as I can out of my 44.
And you can buy 452 projectiles for a lot less than you can 429 projectiles of the and weight. And casting makes that question irrelevant, and since both the 44 and 45 can use the same primers and powders, and obtain the same velocities, they're for all intents and purposes the same, just one creates a larger wound channel.

You don't handload so you don't know what you're talking about, but if you're going to talk about it, you should at least read about it, first. The data is easily obtained, just not on the side of boxes you're paying far too much for.

Honestly, if you're not stocked up for handloading now, you're not going to make it.
>>
>>64501852
Which is what i meant by reloading 'fixes' 'most' of my complaints with the cartridge.
Half the complaints i greentexted were essentially negated by reloading.
>Honestly, if you're not stocked up for handloading now, you're not going to make it.
Youll run out or primers and powder just as i will run out of bullets, its not some wellspring of life, you still have to deal with availability problems. The fact that when you shoot it, then dont come back.
>>
>>64501852
And most reloading arguments can be applied to many strange and obscure catridges, it can make them viable, however, it is still nice to be able to grab a few boxes from the local store. Rather than picking up dead calibers that you may be almost entirly reliant on reloading for.

Sounds like a myth, shotgun barrels don't really effect accuracy much, and even if that theory was true it would make a negligible difference within a shotguns effective range.

They're getting rid of cartridges.
They don't need to cancel guns, just ammo. You know this, yet here you are, bullshitting.
For $30, I could buy 1000 primers (the only thing i can't source myself, powder i can make, shells i can reuse 100 times with annealing, but working with mercury fulminate isn't something I'm about to start doing) 5 years ago and have them stored away for a rainy day.
You might be lucky to do that with 1000 rounds of anything then or now, which i can still do.
In 10 years what do you think the landscape will be?
In 100?
And my primers, vacuum sealed for that same rainy day, will still be viable, giving me 30-06 power levels at the muzzle from a straight walled cartridge i can and will always be able to use black powder in.
45 is a sexy old cartridge made sexier by them making lever actions that use it to full power loads.
The limitation is you.
>>
>>64501933
>$30, I could buy 1000 primers
yea in 1985 maybe
>>

And your green text is retarded. What modern firearm that shoots rimmed 45, 44, and 357 is unique to that chamber?

And if you're needing a gun store store to make your firearm viable, as I said before, you are not going to make it.
Might I ask, are you jewish?
Or a nigger?
Or just living in the city?
>>

>They're getting rid of cartridges.
>They don't need to cancel guns, just ammo.
Theyll cancel primers, too, which already have alot more availibility problems than cartridges do.
>and my primers, vacuum sealed for that same rainy day
My ammo stash is stores away in sealed ammo can, itll last 100 years easy, too, assuming i never use them.

But the main argument here seems to answered simply enough, you have 2 choices
>Buy gun chambered in a super common calibre
>Can buy ammo at any store for cheap, easy
>Can reload for evern cheaper, nice
or
Buy chambered in a less common calibre
>Can reload for cheap
>Harder to find instore and with limited selection and its overpriced

One of these options is patently superior than the other.

Even if you do reload your .45lc, up to .44mag power levels, you still cant fix its trajectory/velocity, which will still be worse, than .44.
You cant fix the fact that .45 cartridges are bulkier and heavier than 44.

How useful is an manual action intermediate powered rifle with an effective range of only like ~130yards?

Lots of chatter about the D’Etremont faggit crossing the floor. Claiming Scheer and the party whip burst into his office and yelling at him. I think the guy is a massive faggit liar of course, but lots of lib leaning “politico” commentators are claiming there’s discontentment in the CPC caucus about Poilevre and his leadership. Getting kinda worried he’s gonna get the boot and CPC will get some limp dick “red tory” like O’Toole or Charest, who won’t do dick all for gun owners, won’t reverse bans and etc.

Is the leadership review voted on by CPC delegates at the convention in Jan? I’m thinking about trying to become a delegate specifically to vote for PP to stay on as leader.
>>
>>64502002
>Charest
Gawht fuckin damnit, i still cant believe he was the #2 pick, against PP, when he was clearly just a liberal wearing blue, who thought the countries greatest concerns were "The army isnt gay and feminist enough" and "we need to support trudos gun bans"
>>
>>64502002
Polls suggest that the cons under PP have the highest chance of winning an election, so of course the libshit media has gone into full attack mode to try to get him gone
>>
>>64502002
To be honest I'm willing to believe that the Conservative party isn't particularly well-run. It's probably no worse than the Libs, but losing an election does tend to lead to at least some infighting. PP isn't a particularly good politician either, I'd rate him as about equal to Carney but Carney has the full force of the media and boomer retardation behind him to puff him up.

I think we're going to continue to see this mess until either the party swings to the left and collapses (like in the UK) or it swings to the right like in the US and builds up a more reliable (and radicalised or desperate) voter base.

There are a bunch of people who believe the 45lc is the superior cartridge to the 44 mag, and while I prefer the 44 (especially with 325gr 430 projectiles in my 1894) their argument, where they're getting almost the same velocities with 340gr hard cast 452 projectiles, doesn't leave me much room to think the deer/elk/moose/human will ever notice the difference.
But you started with the 357. That's why I'm a little miffed with this strawman gaslighting bullshit.
>>
>>64502197
>doesn't leave me much room to think the deer/elk/moose/human will ever notice the difference.
Yes, but, a .45lc will be harder to hit with at range, because it has more drop, not helped by the fact that most levers have shitty iron sights.

Most reloaders don't need to buy primers, because they bought 10000 of them for the same price you bought 1000 rounds of ammo for 6 years ago. And you can still get 1000 small pistol primers for a 5th of what you can buy 1000 9mm for, or a 10th of what you can buy 1000 5.56mm for.
Again, how do you foresee things going in the future?
Do you think we'll run out of ammo first, or primers?
Weight for weight, if you're preparing for a what if scenario, which do you think it's more important and more logical to have more of?

Assembled cartridges, because i load and them shoot them in under a minute, much faster than you could assemble components into a funcitonal bullet.

They ALL drop like a brick you retard. What, you're putting spitzers in the 357?

Guess what though, most of the powders a guy uses in 357 can also be used in the 308, and it's $100 for a set of dies and a mould for a 200gr Spitzer in 308. And large pistol primers work great in a rifle cartridge using pistol powder, and with that combination you can get 2000fps.
And where are you?

>trying to not get sniped by the thousand other retards just like you all within 50 miles of wherever the fuck it is you live.

Yeah carry a couple boxes of primers in hopes of that, but youll probably get alot more use out of the assembled cartridges you have with you.

I am 300 miles from the city, and I can still get all of that shipped to the local store, 6 miles away. Again, why get obvious ammo shipped when I can just get primers? Although everything is on a list now so, and only getting worse...

>digging things out of the ground.
Get fucked you disingenuous piece of shit. Nothing I have said says I'll ever be walking around without assembled cartridges, I'll just have the ability to always assemble more.

Well, if you're living on the road, the ability to make more cartridges than you can carry will always be in your favor.
But if you're living on the road and need more than 100 rounds at a time, you probably shouldn't be on the road.

And if you're not on the road, then having the ability to make ammo to replace what you use will always, in every situation, be an asset.

But yeah, good luck with continuously buying ammo, for any gun. I'm sure that's not going to change.
Heaven forbid you buy components that, worst case scenario, makes for a very interesting hobby that helps make your gun as accurate as it is capable of.

If you are carrying around 10000 primers in hopes that thats an advantage, you are hoping to scavange lead and powder from the dirt or ruins, which is a stretch.
>Nothing I have said says I'll ever be walking around without assembled cartridges
And it makes no real difference if those cartridges or store bought or reloads, because you cant carry enough to make the cost difference maningful, to all but the poorest of poors.

Kids, buy bullets, because they will be alot easier to barter with than reloading componenets.
but do, buy a few boxes of primers too, because they could theoreticly be used maybe in some scenarios.
