The ticket IMO these days is to find a Gen 2+ white phos BNVD 1431 Mk2 or similar housing with quality glass that was bought brand new by a single owner redditor that then realized they live in connecticut and can't actually shoot at night or do anything but post pictures of their setup on reddit, so they're selling it now for $5250 asking, but you offer $4250 and snag it for like $4500, and then the $2500 differential vs $7k can go into thermals. But everyone's budget/finances are different.
