>>

If you have money to set on fire
>What do they even teach?
They you to be proficient in a bunch of handguns and ammo. Some gunsmithing and other skills.

But like the other Anon said, nothing you can't learn in your spare time on YT.
>>
>>65062509
You spent money to learn how to read the guide book they included with the gun. Unless your going into gunsmithing as a career, you could've just spent a few hours online

Installed the DPM spring in my M&P. Definitely more force added over the stock 16# spring (mines the midsize).
It'll be for batch 4 of .45 Super, I'll probably load over 100rds of what I like the most of my 3 test batches. Alongside my USP of course.

Because I can grab it for 600 with 3 mags, and I already have a usp and p220. Is there another .45 you'd recommend instead? Also don't see a cheaper alternative on gunbroker.

You could go full fudd with a 1911. The HK45's basically just going to feel like a slightly different version of the USP you already own, with less mag capacity. Mostly just curious because the HK45 is a weird sell to people.

Do you have to file paperwork and shit when buying a new non-threaded barrel for a pistol? do you have to do that with threaded even? My barrel has a serial number on it.
>>

>is a ported barrel on a handgun really worth it?
No

>>65063019
Which gun?
>>
>>65063011
A 92 barrel is like 180-200 bucks. A porting job is like 75 dollars since you don’t need to do a slide cut. The extra is pure profit plus the profit margins already there in the porting job. Shops can’t materialize 92 barrels out of thin air and often buy at retail price from beretta.

I once was visiting family in Florida and went to range that was half indoor gun range and half restaurant. It was a tad odd. I just remember this cute Latina girl that worked behind the counter kept being extra nice to me

Top Gun in Daytona is kinda like that. There was this one place in Holly Hill that was super run down and a couple killed themselves there but it was dirt cheap for a college kid so I usually went there
>>

do people do that at gun ranges on purpose often?

Yes. One of the indoor ranges near me has had multiple suicides there over the years, because they rent guns to single people.

>>
>>65063354
that’s actually a pretty good law.
>>
>>65063337
Yeah stock barrel. The advantage of Wolff with the 4.5" is that it's way cheaper lol. If Wolff had a setup for a 4" barrel I'd have gone with them.

I picked up my new handgun today, it was an M9A1
everything feels pretty good in the hands, except the mag release buttons feels really stiff, i have to break my grip to really push it down

will that loosen up after repeated use or do I need to take it apart and lube that area?
>>
>>65064089
The mag release has two miniscule pieces held together with a compressed spring, and it's a real motherfucker to get them back together and in their proper place without the spring bending and potentially launching something around the room, so be ready for that if you do open it up.
I had a rough go of it just popping it open and reversing sides for a left handed mag release.

Ya it'll just be hard for awhile. Not a huge fan of the stock Beretta mag releases because they are always super hard to get to since they are so recessed. You'll be fine eventually though. Same thing happens with the trigger, it'll feel better and smoother over time

Literally how? All the people I know who shoot have thick, or at least non-woman, wrists.
>>
>>65064582
Honestly this is the best non-womanly reason. If you give a boy $20 and and send him to the candy store, he will come back with 20 candy bars. But, one of them will be his favorite candy bar. If you send him next time with $5, he's only going to come back with 5 candy bars, but one of them will be his favorite candy bar. Finally, if he only has $1 in the candy store, he's going to buy only his favorite candy bar.
Echelon is nobody's favorite. It's just a gun late by years to oversaturated market. Give it to Croatian police and army, and that's it.
>>
>>65064519
I have to say that my favorite mag release is on my PX-4 Compact. It's nice and protruding without getting in the way
