It strips alot of features from the 2k11, it uses a standard 1911 slide with a bushing barrel reusing Kimber's old tooling, uses an internal extractor vs the external of the 2k11.

If anybody has a ruger lcp or lcp max and has trouble with the slide not going fully forward while shooting, try hopps no. 9 or a similar low viscosity oil. The thing seems to like stuff that is just enough to oil the gun but fluid enough that sand and grit can't stick, especially on the feed ramp.
