RepostingI’ve been playing with the idea of getting a BRN-4 upper and making a fake-M27 to act as both an IAR and DMR. So it would have a 1-8 LPVO, or at least an acog with top dot, a can, an 11” rail with bipods, cushy HK buttstock, and an FRT. it’s kind of annoying that for the upper with a chrome lined barrel, they don’t let you pick the heavy option with a 16” barrel. So either I’ll have to cope and get a medium contour barrel, lose some of the DMR capability and get the 14.5” heavy, or get the non-chrome lined 16” heavy barrel upper. This is not including the option of removing the barrel altogether and getting their M27 barrel, which has a bayonet lug. Anyone have any thoughts on this or advice?
