The difference between my holosun 507c and my T2 under nods is irrelevant.Assuming both are at the appropriate level of brightness both are completely adequate.I can only speak for me but I don’t know how far people are shooting with passive aim for whatever differences may exist to become meaningful.I think people really major in the minors on night vision performance with a dot.The best thing about a T2 and NV is that it uses a dial so it’s very easy to adjust with gloves which matters when you live in a place with winter or if you just wear gloves for the LARP.

You still have your field of view and other eye of course, but precise aiming will really suffer. Reticle brightness is not the issue. I learned this 10 years ago with a comp m3 next to a holosun 503c at about 8pm. Sun was almost down, trying to shoot a steel target at 100 yards. It was too bright out for a weaponlight, too dim for a holosun. The aimpoint still worked.
