Is this gun using blanks... to pump water?
>>
>>65358201
Iirc, it's a fire suppression foam system.
But yes I do believe it uses blanks.

Thanks, it's apparently called the "ИП-1", but the project was stillborn, probably due to some Russian firearms regulations. Would've probably gone further if they had based it on a pump shotgun.

replaced it with an old worn out Romanian (I think?) palmswell hardwood handguard that I accidentally cracked and chipped putting it on because I'm a gigantic impatient retard and I don't really care about it. It's a WASR and that wood is worn as fuck, I just like how smooth it feels
>>65362683
I actually can't tell, the dong lower handguard feels much heavier than something 3D printed, unless the maker filled it with something. The bottom screw hole looks like wood but the inside kinda looks 3D printed so idk

Every single person I've seen actually have the parts in-hand has said they're grossly out of spec with real RU parts, and that there's a clear step down in QA and manufacturing tolerance.

Gents, I bought a WASR10/63 when I was 18 (15 years ago) and it's been chillin in my safe periodically slathered in oil basically the whole time since. I've been way more into shooting/buying/carrying pistols and the AK is my only rifle. I feel like I want to shoot it more now, but I literally don't know where to start.

>The 30 round mags I bought with it are "legal to own" in my state since I bought them pre-ban but I can't take them to the range
The mag buyers guide wasn't super clear, are the Magpul 10 rounders the best small cap mags for the price?
>It only has iron sights
How do I tell if my front sight is canted? It "looks" good to me. Should I just put an LPVO or small red dot on it anyway?
>I don't want to drop $130+ on a legit side rail mount.
Any good optic mount options for cheap?
>retard question incoming
Is the 15 year old 500rd tub of steal case wolf 7.62 good to shoot?

Thanks!

>I feel like I want to shoot it more now, but I literally don't know where to start
Take it out and shoot it. That's the start.
>are the Magpul 10 rounders the best small cap mags for the price?
Probably, but I don't really fuck with commercial mags.
>How do I tell if my front sight is canted?
Invert the rifle and place the sights on a flat surface. If the sights are straight, the ears on the front will both sit flat as will the rear sight.
Pic related
>Should I just put an LPVO or small red dot on it anyway?
Sure, why not.
>I don't want to drop $130+ on a legit side rail mount.
Then don't.
>Any good optic mount options for cheap?
Not really. Airshit replica tier mounts will shift or just flat out break, so you're better off just buying once, crying once imo.
>Is the 15 year old 500rd tub of steal case wolf 7.62 good to shoot?
Lel, yes.
I'm currently shooting M67 from the 1980s, I think your basically new Wolf will be fine.

Also, post it nigger. :)

The most infuriating thing is that they've already been produced. They've been sending them out to guntuber faggots on Reddit for months but still haven't put them up for sale yet because of "issues with their anodizer".
>>
>>65369051
Then get the gun and wait for them to "work out the problems with their annodizer"? I'm not seeing the problem.
Unless it's your need for instant gratification that's the problem.

I think because of sanctions or whatever they have to get approval from Serbian government for every export shipment of firearms, so they're probably only focusing on what sells the most like M70 and M92. They haven't imported the M77 in a while either.

You could get a PSG1 with original accessories and documents for that kind of money, and unlike the SVD, that's actually a good and accurate rifle.

Sorry I'm just now answering this, I worked over the weekend into tuesday. Check out these next two pictures, looking inside the handguard and the bottom it really looks like wood/3D printed. It felt like painted wood. I have a lot of bakelite stuff and it was heavier than bakelite. I still don't know for sure maybe I sold a legit one for way too cheap. What do you think? It certainly looks better than that shitty wood piece of shit repro on gunbroker

>I have a lot of bakelite stuff and it was heavier than bakelite
Bakelite handguards are a lot more bulk than just a grip or a mag.
That sure looks like bakelite to me, but without having it in hand I couldn't be 100 percent sure.
Extremely dried out though.
>Like this one is starting to around the table that slots into the receiver and the cleaning rod hole, but yours is way worse off
Little love and it could've been fine again though.
But I mean it not like you sold it for $50, and you didn't seem super hyped about it so it sounds like both parties did ok.

>>65375454

Ok I pulled it up on a bigger screen and now I'm not sure at all anymore.
The layer lines on the bottom of the grip are not indicative of bakelite mold, which is shown in the split seam down the middle on the pic I posted of a real one.
Appreciate the follow up though.
Whoever did that did a pretty bang up job, if it is a print.
Carry on and enjoy the para-trooper.
