You just have to accept your first shot isn’t going to be both fast and accurate every time (you will get lucky sometimes). I basically try to get a fast minute-of-man center mass hit and then accurate follow up shots.The single action is really good for a combat gun.The recoil is great (comparable to a Glock 21)I’m happy with the mag capacity and I enjoy the ergos and aesthetics.There’s something to be said about how a gun makes you feel.Something about the USP just brings confidence. Gives you a feeling you’re wielding something powerful and dependable.

The problem with the minor A-zone of an IPSC silhouette is that it lacks 33% of a T-box. A pair of eyes are represented but off center and difficult to target focus with mechanical sights. I just took my Sig P385 to the shooting range yesterday and everyone was asking me about it and showing organic interest in the hottest new handgun. I never felt more popular! Shooting it was an absolute delight too. At one point, the RO came over and asked of he could try firing it. He's a retired special forces soldier who trains SWAT, so needless to say he's well experienced with firearms. He shot 3 shots at 25 yards, and they were all bullseyes! He set the Sig Sauer P385 down on the table and slowly turned to. He had tears forming in his eyes and said to me that it was the finest handgun he'd every shot and that if it had been their issued sidearm during the war that maybe more of his brothers would have come back alive. I lost it there and just started sobbing. So did everyone else. As he walked back to the rear wall, everyone clapped and saluted the RO, and then turned to my P385 while continuing to applaud and salute. I wiped the tears from my eyez and finished shooting the rest of my ammo. Every shot was more accurate than the prior next thanks to the modular gripzone on the P385. On my way out to my car afterwards, an OF gunbunny influencer said my gun was the coolest thing she'd ever seen and asked for me number. I guess we have a date this Tuesday. THANK YOU SIG!!

The actual cut is fine but it doesn't come with a plate with backup irons like Langdon includes. I hate that smug fuck Ernest's face but he knows 92s. North Sea Machine I haven't heard enough about to determine if they're good or bad.

Still waiting for my Gunnars Custom Holsters...holster for my P01. Got some of the wood 84f grips for my 84bb. A bit thicker but whatever. The only real issue is that they are really matte and dark. I dont think they used a stain or anything but really ugly. Lots of scratches/rough wood still so I am gonna get some 400 or 800 grit sandpaper and walk the edges/facets up to at least 3000 grit + some autosol. Probably scrub the checkering with polish + a toothbrush to polish/clean that part as well. Afterwards I wanna use some BLO on the grips. Is this practical at all? No. But I bought these grips to look nice and they have such a dull flat look like plastic and the point of walnut is to show off the figure so fuck it.
