My personal life doesn't matter in this aspect. These are cases of femicide; they are killed for being trans women, not for being "men." They are seen as subhuman for being trans women, even if they perform femininity, even if they pass. It's gender and identity oppression, which is common to all. Recently, a cis man killed a trans woman, confessed to the crime, and took the body to the police station, claiming self-defense. He wasn't arrested, and she had no defense. Cisgender women can be racist, sexist, and cooperate against gender and sexual minorities, and this is common. The problem isn't just men.

And transgender and gay people weren't even seen as human beings; the vilification by religions (Christianity, Confucianism, Islam, etc.) wouldn't even allow them to have a normal life for that time. Yes, you are spoiled. The fact that you didn't have to fear being killed or ridiculed for that time, leading a relatively common life, is a reason.

I don't care; the fact is that gender equality is becoming more visible, while homophobic/transphobic violence is not. Considering that in 2025 there will be more countries that kill, imprison, and whip people for homosexual relationships and transsexuality, I believe nothing is clearer than that.
