this is my biggest blackpill
I can't make it through life sober. Maybe some other drugs can take over for alcohol but I've never heard of any that are similar to alcohol and they all seem to be a lot more debilitating, which would make daily use difficult

maybe, it seems to be very popular for trannies so I imagine it's for a reason

that's okay nonny you weren't obligated to reply at all lol. thank you. i'm going to be a pain, though: it's not really that i'm worried about passing, it's that i don't understand what mannerisms i have that make people hear what they do when i speak. is it all mannerisms that make me sound female? is it the tone, too? is it only the tone? i'm working towards something androgynous, like i said to the other nona, and i don't really know how to get there from here. i am wondering if vocal mannerisms might have something to do with it.
you don't have to respond to this, either, and please don't if it is too complicated; i just thought maybe you would know a lot about the subtleties of speech since you were placing a lot of importance in that and having lived with cis women in your original post. nobody ever really talks about this stuff in voicegens lol.

you mean this is your natural voice? it is definitely a good start if so (or even if not, i suppose); your resonance is a bit low which gives your voice a deep quality, so you will want to work on that, and you seem to be speaking from your throat, which causes the sort of breathy, singsongy falsetto sound (even when you're not reading poetry, i mean). you'll want to learn how to manipulate your larynx to affect resonance and speak from your chest, with support from your diaphragm, both which i learned to do by singing (i learned everything, actually, by singing). if you enjoy singing, it's honestly my sole recommendation for voice-training; it's not targeted, of course, so if you want to learn something specific or quickly it probably isn't as good as, say, a guide by transvoicelessons (or perhaps this https://buymeacoffee.com/alyssavt/no-explanations-instructions-feminizing ?, which i have not yet checked but was posted recently), but much like swimming works all the muscles of your body, singing will teach you pretty much everything there is to know about how your voice works. i liked (still like) singing along to post-hardcore and metalcore music, which i think was probably helpful for its range of tones and techniques. but most things ought to work, even if you're not being coached.
assuming you don't already know how, please be safe if you sing along to music with screaming, though; you could seriously and permanently hurt yourself and your voice if you do that wrong. for this you SHOULD look up resources and instructional videos et cetera. you can for everything else, too, but i don't think it's so important.

if you don't like or want to sing, big dog/small dog and swallow-and-hold are two useful techniques for learning how your larynx works (if you can't already manipulate it). i'm really not sure about vocal placement, though....singing's all i've got for that one.

A big thing I've noticed is most guys into trannies are emotionally immature and can't square away their attraction with their mental image of themselves as the straight man they've always been.

One of my favorite things to see on twitter/bluesky is where the cis queer female yuri fans try to appeal to cishet/bi women with this kind of shit, but instead they end up attracting trans lesbians.

It's just never not funny. You can tell that what they desperately want are those ao3 girlies, but all they end up getting are insecure autistic trans women who want to make skirt go spinny.

>It sounds counterintuitive but it's because actual gynophilia is shamed and seen as patriarchal by these people, even if it's gynophilia among women.
Oddly enough this is a product of feminism. It was second-wave feminism that postulated that men overtly expressing sexual attraction is innately predatory and harassment, massively ramping up neuroticism about harmless come-ons among the most neurotic part of humanity. Obviously, there's a limit to how far this can go in straight spaces since men fundamentally don't care and think the whole theory is stupid, while str8 women want to get hit on by men. But in lesbian spaces where the guardrails are off, this can be taken to its natural conclusion of seeing any sexual interest as prurient and debasing, whereas "real" love is pure and abstract and produced by things like "admiring your moral rectitude" or "respecting my career achievements".

I see your point, but I am okay being with someone 100% straight. I do think it is important to be sexually compatible though. Having mismatched libidos can create some resentment in my experience. Although, that wasn’t the reason the relationship I had ended

>>42183292
Yeah, it is on my bucket list. Honestly, I would be fine finding a women who was into it and settling down but I think those are rare. It seems much easier to find a guy willing to try it and get it over with lol.
>>
>>42182847
I get where you’re coming from. You don’t have to share everything with a potential partner upfront though. You can if you want and mutual trust and openness is a necessary and healthy thing in a relationship. but it’s not like they have a right to know every little detail about your life.
>>
>>42183410
Yeah, that is a good point. I just know that I would share it with the person I am with in the future and I worried about it hurting the relationship. I probably would share it on the first date though haha
>>
>>42183456
It’s certainly the healthy thing to do long term. Keeping it a secret… it can eat you up inside. Maybe I’m too much of a boomer, but I could never share something like that on a first date. Like, I can barely contain enough crazy as is
>>
>>42183999
Oh I meant to say wouldn’t… yeah no I would not share it on the first date

>>

>ignores reality and acts as if they both speak for and against said community
Again, the community is not calling people who are out and/or on hrt a repper. But the community is setting a minimum amount of years being out before granting entry.
>elitism
Being denied that entry does not translate to “they’re elitists!” The group does not think themselves somehow superior or elevated. They strictly desired a group that had a standard starkly different than the handful of other /tttt/ groups who contend with transitioners that are in the early stages of transition, a clearly different point of time to the curated group; it also discourages common vices found in most early transitioning discords: fervent flirting among members, doom posting, people still adjusting to being publicly their gender, and just general immaturity that is often rampant with not just younger trannies but also people going through a 2nd puberty. Wanting a group that’s just past all of that is a fair request from a sub section of a community, and it is not as if everyone else that is outside that group could not just make another community for themselves where they do qualify, let alone the countless other tranny discords that are also available for you and others to join. It’s just needlessly hostile (and also a prime example of what exact immaturity from other trannies in the larger of the community) the group is trying to distance from until further notice.
