I wish transitioning would be a way for me to become happier, but any amount of deeper introspection just reveals that I am cis and would come to hate the effects of hrt, no matter how much I currently desire them. There's also the wish that many of my issues were just a manifestation of gender dysphoria, and that treating it would improve my life, but that's unfortunately also not the case.
