This and it's because they have suicidal empathy for retarded minority groups and won't stop propping them up and until they've ruined civilization.

How do you deal with loneliness? I used to be really good at dealing with it when I was younger but my yearning over the years has been getting worse and worse.

I feel like this feeling just makes me weak, even if I know it's natural. I just wish I could accept that being celibate is okay because I know deep down no one will want me.

I'm having the same issue, OP. I've found that the loneliness which was so easy to deal with when I had a T-brain is now really really fucking difficult to deal with. I've been trying to put myself out there and go to social events but I'm aware that I'm ugly and don't resemble a woman in any real way. I just refuse to let that stop me. I will find someone desperate enough to put up with me. I'm sure you can too

Goal of the thread: Consider the things you want to improve or accomplish, whether long- or short-term. What small steps can you make towards those goals?
Daily goals can be repeated. Remember to keep score, it can only go up!

>What is this thread for?
Getting better is hard, and sucks. A lot. It does not get easier doing it alone.
Share resources and experiences with combating depression, anxiety, personal issues, achieving or maintaining a healthy weight, etc.
>Why is this thread /lgbt/?
Struggles with mental and physical health are an indisputable part of /lgbt/ life, be it from dysphoria, social pressure, heartbreak, or just unfortunate lifestyle choices.
>Notes to consider:
Please be civil. Shame is your greatest enemy in fighting urges of self abuse (be it sh, drugs, or just self deprecation). Relapsing into bad and unhealthy habits is to be expected, the goal is to increase the average amount of time it takes between relapses. Any improvement is a victory no matter how small. Your worth and right to get better are non-negotiable. And most importantly:
WE ARE NOT THERAPISTS, WE DON'T REPLACE MEDICATION

I've been really struggling with something and I want to get some advice on it. How does one actually start trusting people again in terms of a romantic relationship? Throughout my life the closest thing I've ever had to a relationship was people using me for validation or sexual shit and it has always always sucked. That was until a couple years ago when my friend asked me if I wanted to date and I was like hell yeah. A year later I found out they had been lying to me about something that meant the relationship could not work and they broke up with me about it. I won't go into details but essentially it turns out they never actually were in love with me and never felt about me the way I felt about them. Even now, a couple years later, I still feel like it's impossible for me to learn how to trust another person but I want to so, so badly. How do you go about learning to trust the integrity and honesty of others when everyone you've ever liked romantically has used you and then left? Am I just retarded?
>>
>>42268004
>How've you been liking it?
France, I mean. Not Paris in particular
>>
>>42210342
Oh, given that it's more than understandable that you got worried about not being able to eat for a few days! It must be a relief to have that dealt with. Has your digestion recovered a little? In what situation do you struggle with your posture the most? On the phone, computer..?
>outside of this i never really had a goal, just less fat in some places and more fat and muscle in others
That's already a good start! Do you feel content besides? Wanna tell me a little about your life, perhaps? Anywhere in particular you feel lost?
>>42216193
Happy new year, Anon!
>I really like board games and TTRPGs.
Hell yeah, it's something I do enjoy from afar but hearing people with enthusiasm for it talk is always contagious!
>I've tried in the past to make friends IRL, and technically succeeded, but I didn't actually like it, none of the people I met IRL I could vibe with as with my online friends.
Hm, where did you look for friends? Did you ever participate in local events, many TTRPG stores (at least in the countries I've been to) seem to hold regular events, well, I mean it's quite essential for their business to give lower the high barrier of entry for actually playing.
>The friendships felt a lil uncomfortable, artificial?
Hm, this alien feeling is normal at the beginning of friendships especially. Did you only meet them in person or add them to your contacts? Maybe you find it easier connecting through text?

>>42217208
I would suggest, as a start, to NOT hold back asking for a second reassurance, and see how that works for you. But a perspective shift would likely do you well, also. Ask yourself: if roles were reversed, how would YOU feel reassuring someone? Would it bother you? Probably not, right? People want to be needed, Anon. People need to be needed, by someone, at least sometimes, to feel like they belong.
>>42220357
Happy to hear the social vitamins gave you exactly what you needed! Perhaps the trip itself was also essential, you have a lot on your plate and needed a break, it seems.
>she probably thinks i'm a loser tho.
If she does it's a lack of empathy on her end, honestly.
>i'll make it a point i do actively talk to more people irl and meet new people.
And that is a wonderful goal to set, wishing you all the best, as always. <3

Oh I see, yeah I 100% get it, I think it's even healthy that you didn't immediately bother to mention it, our limitations don't define us, after all. Doesn't make them suck any less, which ties into the depression part, but I do think I understand.
>Plus I'm out of a wheelchair and do pretty well on crutches now
That's good news, were you doing like,
>As for lifestyle changes my spouse and I are getting into board games
Oh nice! Personally I get easily overwhelmed by new board games which is why I stick to things I know with comparably few rules like Carcasonne. I'd love to hear how your lifestyle changes develop, sounds all like exciting stuff that can be worked on in nice and concrete terms.
>>42223455
>trying to make sure the first time i presented fem in public would go ok.
Oh, that is of course dangerous. You made a big deal out of the first time presenting female and put so much time into it you ended up self sabotaging through perfectionism. It can happen, I am sorry you went through this. Don't beat yourself up too much, insecurities can consume one easily like that, and it is okay to ask for help/having people reign you in for it not to happen again.
As for the aid, yeah ANYTHING administrative between the years is always a real mess, since seemingly half the people are already on vacation by mid December.
>im planning on calling them again on monday. hopefully that will help.
Did the Monday call work out? I know I'm a little late to the party, it's my first week of work at a new place. I'm looking forward to hearing from you, once we know more about the aid we can worry about the classes.

https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/vermont-bill-would-create-state-trust

>Across the United States, gender-affirming care has come under sustained attack in Republican-led states and from the Trump administration. For transgender youth, those attacks have been especially severe, with roughly half of U.S. states now banning such care outright. At the federal level, the administration has waged an intense pressure campaign against hospitals, threatening funding and prompting many systems to drop their care programs altogether. That campaign has now escalated further, with the federal government moving to threaten hospitals’ entire Medicaid and Medicare funding if they continue providing transgender youth care. In response, some states and cities are beginning to fight back by establishing their own funding mechanisms for trans healthcare. The latest example comes from Vermont, where lawmakers have introduced a bill to create a trust fund for gender-affirming care designed to be entirely insulated from federal funding threats.

>H.576, introduced by Representatives Daisy Berbeco, Tiffany Bluemle, and Troy Headrick, would establish the Affirming Health Care Trust Fund. Administered by the State Treasurer, the fund would provide direct monetary support to healthcare providers and nonprofits offering gender-affirming care in Vermont. It would cover costs for patients who would otherwise go without treatment, fund the establishment of Vermont-based clinics, and pay for malpractice and liability insurance for clinicians who continue offering care. The bill is part of an increasing movement towards private clinics as a mechanism to survive federal threats.

Yea I think if you maintain what you got (below the neck), continue with HRT, you will place above the 70percentile for trans posters here, in terms of body. Your not too tall, not too fat, you got great legs! OwO! You're not overly developed up top either.

Maintain the hairless smooth skin, keep up with whatever butt and legs exercises you do, and let the HRT work out the rest.

Growing the hair out is def difficult! I think your idea is good, just keep the top growing out till man bun length, youll just look edgy, when long enough let the sides catch up.
>>
>>42267527
On closer look, i notice tou got side burns and appear to clean shaven face. Another suggestion for progressing your hair, is try to taper back your side burns more and more overtime. Alternatively if worried about boymoding, you can grow the sides a little more, just long enough to let hair fall down like side burns, while shaving undrr then. This should go with maintaining a clean shaven face most days while you do what you are doing. The two suggestions will make eventual electrolysis and facial hair removal lets jarring for people that know you and you yourself will adjust easier.

>>42267769
That is great advice, thank you. I've already made some changes recently to how I present so I'm not too worried. If someone outs me while boymoding I'll probably end up more relieved than bothered.
