I FUCKING hate looking like a moid with a fat ass and shitty moobs bit no but it makes me look completely gimped as a manmoder it's fucking infuriating and so soul crushing. Like everyone I talk to KNOWS my body is fucked but can't pin it but they still despise it.
At this point I almost wish I was a fatass so that way if I had a gut people would just think I'm a fat man BUT NO and my face is so obviously moidly I barely malefail. HRT really is a fucking psyop, 15 months and this is all I get...
Anyone in a similar situation wanna rope together? We could die and be happy as 3rd gender untranny valley freaks

yea basically so in short:

>level 3: trans women - extreme difficulty

>You're not sharing my journey you can't even sympathize with it
they just wanna appropriate it, they dont care

not if were counting theyfabs as trans, which we shouldnt, then we wouldnt have to divide it like this at all

Type 2 - Transition is helpful, but not always crucial. Fuck off, who wrote this, some FtM who wants to be a 'femboy' or little peewee herman looking MF

Should say genital transition is help but not always crucial, but medical transition is necessary.
>>
>>42332713
Repressing FtM should say often becomes increasingly militant, political, and generally annoying but men will generally ignore for the most part as long as they are cute.

Please level with me, the Reddit crowd was super difficult when I asked them about this and I want brutally honest answers.

My boyfriend & I are both in our early 20s and I recently found out that he has been taking estrogen for months. He's been looking different and had low libido, so I figured something was up but he never told me what he was doing, didn't ask me what I thought, etc. I have no idea what he was thinking because it isn't easy to hide the physical effects of estrogen.

What I am wondering:

>How long will it take for his breasts to finish growing? He's got b cups and it's sort of weird seeing boobs there.
>Is there any way to cure AGP?
>Is there a connection between AGP and high functioning "computer nerd" personality types?
>Do small men tend to have more or less change? My boyfriend is 5'6" and skinny (although he seems to be gaining weight).
>He wants fat transfer, is that safe?

I'm not transphobic, just want honest answers. I tried saying that my bf has agp behaviors on Reddit and got massacred for it, even though I live with him and have seen it for years.

>There are studies showing trans women's brains range from androgynous (similar to gay men aka "hsts") to just as masculine as cis men.
Generally yes, but they also detect differences in the AGP group - just in areas of the brain that are supposed to be sex dimorphic. This suggests that AGP runs very deep, or at least a biological predisposition to things like it.
>From my perspective, it seems very noteworthy that my boyfriend grew up with a severely emotionally abusive mother who failed to empathically mirror when communicating with him and has now heavily "internalized" his sexual desires. It could be interpreted as a slightly autistic man's defense mechanism, worsened by a porn addiction.
There are always these pet psychoanalytic theories people have about where sexuality comes from but generally speaking there isn't much to support that AGP is caused by trauma. It's also a completely moot point as male sexuality is effectively fixed by late adolescence and can't be changed. If you have hope that he can "realize" that it's "trauma" and his sexuality will change, it won't. It doesn't work that way, especially not in males.
>My boyfriend says he got obsessed with this stuff after the Scooby Doo 2 gender scene and I found like 5 others online who said the same. They all got hooked on this at a young age, it was sexual, and it then escalated.
It's more like the sexual orientation is revealed. That's how Blanchard would view it. He does not believe that porn is a causal factor in AGP. Note that that scene isn't pornographic. I doubt that the vast majority of boys have the same response to it.
>Living with my boyfriend, it is painfully clear he is a male-brained person who wishes he were a woman. I sympathize with him and love him, but I am not going to lie about what's going on.
He's still trans. AGP can become a type of transsexualism according to the guy who coined the term.
>>
>>42334388
TO BE FAIR his characterization of HSTS trannies is also extremely unflattering
>>
>>42335219
>just in areas of the brain that aren't supposed to be sex dimorphic
Sorry needed to correct this. Dr. James Cantor floated the idea of it stemming from an issue with mirror neuron clusters. Interesting idea but not proven. Also, for some more autism dump, "female artifact" and "female artifact defending itself" is TERF lore. Blanchard never discussed this. AGPs may have strong emotional attachments to their "feminine selves" but there isn't actually a split personality going on here. Just an identity conflict over gender. Agreed that there can be some retconning going on but it makes sense that someone would try to reconcile such strong feelings in the present with their past self-narrative.
>>
>>42335272
It's also wrong. HSTS isn't about sexual orientation. It's about lifelong undervirilization which began prenatally. It just happens that that level of undervirilization almost always results in androphilia.
>>
>>42334612
ok this is slowly starting to feel like a "concerned citizen" terf post but i want to know where youre getting the female personality artifact from? like i dont see how how
>So you take a high iq, slightly traumatized 12 year old boy and show him soft gender bender erotica and he gets turned on by it and slowly begins building a female personality artifact.
is just a foregone conclusion how does the first part lead to the second part

using my transition to escape the hecking sins of white men Xd

No matter how much leftists say they're cool-headed people dissecting privilege instead of narrow minded essentialists seeking cathartic violence, their actual dialogue never lives up to it. I like men. I think people have a right to criticize what men sometimes do, but the alternatives offered by progressives in settings like education tend to not revolve around self-actualization. Cis women really aren't that empathetic imo

>Tomorrow, oral arguments will be heard in two cases that could prove pivotal for transgender rights nationwide: West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox. Both stem from state laws banning transgender athletes from participating in school sports—one at the high school level, the other at the collegiate level. In each case, lower courts blocked the bans, finding that they likely violate the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause as well as Title IX’s prohibition on sex discrimination in education. Now, those rulings are under direct threat. The cases have since been brought to the Supreme Court by Republican state attorneys general with backing from Alliance Defending Freedom, a central legal force behind Project 2025. While much of the early coverage has framed the Supreme Court’s review as narrowly about sports, the stakes are far higher: depending on how the Court rules, these cases could reshape the legal framework governing transgender rights for an entire generation.

>Both cases involve transgender girls who participated in sports before being targeted by state bans, and in both instances, lower courts ruled that those bans were discriminatory. In B.P.J.’s case, she transitioned in the third grade and never went through male puberty. No athlete was cut from a team to accommodate her, and claims that she possessed a “biological advantage” stretch credulity. She initially competed in running events before later moving to shot put and discus, before her participation was ultimately barred by West Virginia state law. Lindsey Hecox, meanwhile, was a collegiate runner who complied with testosterone-suppression requirements. She was banned by Idaho state law. Hecox has since attempted to withdraw from the case due to sustained harassment but has not been permitted to do so.

>They should've never gotten into sports
I agree but MTF in sports is not the cause but the effect. It was Women wanting to be in all spaces using the statement that men and women are the same that started this.

Additionally, why is it an issue for a 15 MTF to play on the girls' team? Girls compete against guys in wrestling. Should we strictly enforce gender in wrestling? What about football, we get women on the football team. That's a men's sport. Is it because there is no female football team? Does that mean a guy could be on a women's volleyball team, as most HS don't have a guys' team or what about field hockey? And etc where there is no male team

It really feels like MTF are being thrown under the bus for other parties

previous: >>42044782 >>42079478 (died prematurely)

Goal of the thread: Consider the things you want to improve or accomplish, whether long- or short-term. What small steps can you make towards those goals?
Daily goals can be repeated. Remember to keep score, it can only go up!

>What is this thread for?
Getting better is hard, and sucks. A lot. It does not get easier doing it alone.
Share resources and experiences with combating depression, anxiety, personal issues, achieving or maintaining a healthy weight, etc.
>Why is this thread /lgbt/?
Struggles with mental and physical health are an indisputable part of /lgbt/ life, be it from dysphoria, social pressure, heartbreak, or just unfortunate lifestyle choices.
>Notes to consider:
Please be civil. Shame is your greatest enemy in fighting urges of self abuse (be it sh, drugs, or just self deprecation). Relapsing into bad and unhealthy habits is to be expected, the goal is to increase the average amount of time it takes between relapses. Any improvement is a victory no matter how small. Your worth and right to get better are non-negotiable. And most importantly:
WE ARE NOT THERAPISTS, WE DON'T REPLACE MEDICATION

>I found it's beginning chapters a little obtuse, I would recommend to compare and contrast with Taylor's book
Alright, I will! Thanks for the recommendation. I actually found out about Taylor's book from Claude too, but it seems loooong, meaning that I likely wouldn't finish it. But I stole a copy on the internet, so into the collection it goes.
>Knowing Oberstufenphysik, I can attest you missed absolutely nothing.

>A lovely choice, depending on your particular degree you might be able to add a theoretical physics course as Individuelle Ergänzung

I don’t think it’s that rare to be attracted to bigger guys. It’s just that there’s a lot of fat shaming banter among gay men and jerks who make being picky out to be a badge of honor. It can be hard to recognize that plus sized guys have their niche over the gossip about weight. I also think it’s fairly common for people who aren’t het to avoid dating for fear of rejection, self-isolate, neglect themselves, put on weight, and associate their weight gain with self-neglect. They feel unlovable because they haven’t been loving themselves.

Or if they have this idea of MLM community being this glamorous, exotic world, and they’d be the only chubby nerd in the scene.

I hope that makes sense.
>>
>>42334543
> I also think it’s fairly common for people who aren’t het to avoid dating for fear of rejection

me.

but honestly I get it. you can be left confused whether you're ugly or abrasive or something after so many years of not dating, even if it's just down to bad luck. or maybe you ARE actually chopped, though you still wouldn't have a way to tell.

I increasingly associate jacked dudes, both het and gay, with steroids. Gyms feel less about health, more about obsession with vanity. A dude with a gut, or some heft? comes out miles ahead imo, much more attractive.
