>>36355349I think your voice sounds good overall. If you wanted to you could try adding some breathiness, but like I said it's fine imo.

>>36356825It’s really all about how you breathe. Do you get the power from your lungs or from your mouth? In general deep breaths draw power from the diaphragm, and same with deep exhales. This doesn’t only need to be for deep breaths and exhales, it can be for any kind of use of your lungs. The key is feeling that sort of pressure deep in your chest like you feel during a deep exhale when you speak. By getting your vocal power from this instead of your mouth and nostrils your voice sounds less nasal. Additionally you strain your vocal cords less when speaking so can go for higher pitches
>>36356937Not op but how are you supposed to tell if your voice is too nasally?

>>36357009Well technically there’s no such thing as “too nasally” because everyone speaks with their nose to some extent. I think the problem for trans women is that they have no idea how to get vocal power from anywhere but their mouth. This results in a nasal voice because you’re kind of pulling lung air from your mouth instead of pushing it out with your diaphragm when speaking.

>>36357107I’m not crazy this is a normal technique singers use
>>36355349What vocal techniques do you do? Whatever you're doing it's working.
>>36357224i just talk
>>36357346Really? No specific vocal technique? How did you start off, like just trying to speak softer and higher? I'd really appreciate any beginner tips you might have; I'd be happy if my voice was half as good as yours.
>>36357420yeah at this point i just talk. i started with larynx exercises tho
