I am asexual and I have a partner of 8 years. We live together. We do not have sex, ever, never have. I told my partner date one. I said it directly "I do not like sex, enjoy sex, or want sex." And my partner said okay. Problem solved. I do feel lucky, but I think acknowledging it day one was key.
