Let me make it simple for your tart brain: if you take hormones, and do surgery on yourself, you are trans by definition, as you are transitioning. If you don't have dysphoria, that's probably a very stupid thing to do, as I said, like cutting of a sane limb. There's also the optics problem, which did cause precedents and made harder for actual, dysphoric people to access medical care, endangering their lives. Personally I think that people that try to transition without a diagnosis for dysphoria should pay out of pocket, because while I'm all for bodily autonomy, I think it's important to help who really needs it and crate some distinctions.
