This happened like a few weeks ago but it's kinda been on my mind and still confused
>at work
>processing older guy's order
>asks me questions about where I'm from and where I was raised since I'm from east asia, typical small talk
>keeps on asking questions and trying to start convo after done order though
>out of nowhere after something about how I was raised says that I "grew up to be quite an attracrive young woman"
>stunned and mind goes blank and tells him there's others in line waiting
It doesn't make any sense because wile I'm definitely some kinda trans I'm not on hrt yet and basically waitlisted, dress masc at work, use my masc voice (been told it's andro but still sounds masc to me) and still have my my masc name on my nametag
Like I have long hair and usually wear light makeup but it's literally just the very light "natural" kind no eye or lip stuff because I don't like my skin and some feature of my face, other than that I just look like a metalhead
Sometimes customers will gender me female, but honestly it's probably that they think I'm trans at first glance because apparently long hair = girl or something
Anyone have any ideas of what's going through these people's heads that I'm missing
