Is there any music made about or for trannies that's actually good? I'm sick of hearing about boring softboy ftm ukelele songs.
>>
>>36632824
I forgot what it's called but Laura les had a good song ab passing that I like. also obv sophie, arca, osquinn but Sophie's the only one that ac talks ab being trans of those three

Ariel Pink is the only good trans musician:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x0EEXK7XfU

He's kind of a repper, but he identifies as non-binary amongst his friends and family and is very gnc.

This song is also kino:

And lesbian music by Soko, Fletcher and Gregory and the Hawk is also agp-core even if it's technically not about being trans:

Black dresses/girl rituals/mom/eat babies? etc. devi’s music in general
>>
im currently working on a brainworm themed lighter industrial groove album. dicking around with making unrelated songs while i perfect the style.
>>

That's honestly sick as fuck. Is there any place it can be streamed or bought if you're an official artist?

underscores and Jane Remover, I’m not trans but their music has a lot of themes about it
>>
>>36632824
whether it's good depends on who you ask, but issbrokie makes tranny music.
like straight up troon tunes.
like screaming "TRANNY!" in her songs
She's kinda like Lil Darkie but instead of pretending to be black, she's pretending to be a woman. it's pretty based I like it.
>>
>>36632824
autogrindephile and dysphorectomy for sum good grindcore
>>
>>36632824
I kinda hear trans messaging in everything now. It's just projection onto generic songs, but still.

As this thread has shown, the answer is a resounding NO, trannies are only capable of making incel noise music with loli album covers or ultrafeminine high pitched hyperpop shit that comes off as a parody of womanhood. This is a good thing though because even though those particular genres are malebrained, having no musical talent on the whole is extremely fembrained.

only true for white women

kfcmc i think
>>36632888
>machine girl
oh really?
i mean i kinda knew there was some gnc stuff going on but uhh yeah makes sense actually
that's funny actually because for some reason machine girl was what made me realise i'm not really cis
>>
I don't like any trans musicians desu, they're either too tryhard or I just don't click with it. OP, develop a sense of taste and get into post punk, I can give you recommendations.
>>
>>36632824
Does not count at all I think but marjorie -w.c. sinclair has a massive tranny fanbase so i guess that counts as music for trannies (?). Hes a cis guy but also at the same time is also a woman. but not trans. dont really know what his deal is but i listen to him obsessively . i think there's something up with him
>>36634108
+1 on the kfcmc rec. i think
>>
Portraits of Tracy, with her album called Drive Home.

Her music, while kinda ghetto, is really really good. The album is a metaphor to her own shit that she has gone through in her head.

post punk is mid and the term is literally meaningless
like most of the "post punk" gigs i've been to have been some topless british guy shouting shit into a microphone whilst the band play like shitty 4-chord progs
like stop acting so snobby, it's pretty basic and also there are lots of trans musicians out there
post punk's just like all a bit same-y atm and like there's so much more interesting stuff out there
get into experimental music, jazz, post rock, idm
still pretty entry level but like just a bit more interesting
>>
>>36634229
i just checked bc i wasn't sure if they were trans but at least 1 of them is so it counts in my eyes
>>
>>36634326

>>
>>36634330
I have a soft spot for post punk lol, it speaks to me. I've been listening to the Chameleons nonstop for the past couple days. Do you like Ornette Coleman?
>>
>>36634078
>trannies are only capable of making incel noise music with loli album covers or ultrafeminine high pitched hyperpop shit
Embarrassing post.
>>

Honestly though. She's one of the single most gifted musicians of the 21st century. Her voice is fucking insane.
>>
>>36632824
I like Ada Rook. https://soundcloud.com/rooksfeather/sardonica
And Molly Noise. https://soundcloud.com/mollynoise/tracks
People have already said Laura Les so I won't share any tracks in particular but I do like her stuff as well.
Somehow not seeing anyone saying Laura Jane Grace which seems like an oversight, Against Me! should definitely be here. And so should She/Her/hers. Gender is Boring and Nvr Pass are great songs to make you feel worse.
For regular pop music we have Kim Petras, I like her stuff, gay af but good.
As far as I'm concerned there is a correct answer to best currently active transfemme musician though and it is Nat Puff aka Left at London aka /@/. (If you were ever on Vine or watched a compilation you may remember her from such hits as; How to spell lasagne, The two main types of racists - "what about NASCAR", and "hahahah, I do that".) She's been making music for years now, is a skilled producer, and has a great vocal range.

Dorian Electra makes weird hyperpop stuff, good if you like that kind of thing, basically unlistenable otherwise.
Schmekel is very funny, mostly bad annoying music but like, pooner jewboy band. Inherently funny.
Dog Park Dissidents' frontman is FTM I'm pretty sure, definitely annoying but not soft and features no ukeleles. https://dogparkdissidents.bandcamp.com/album/sexual-and-violent-ep

Also it's absolutely equally boring softboy ukelele type shit but I also like Mal Blum and Anjimile, similar vibes but better than Cavetown lol.

Surprised no one’s said candy says by velvet underground.
I also like watashi no koko although that music’s actually about a voice synth software that wants to kill herself but there’s songs about how she wishes she were a real girl and her partner being embarrassed to be seen with her so unintentional trans parallels ig

>Surprised no one’s said candy says by velvet underground
and Lady Godiva's Operation. There's more probably more too.

also it seems like I say this every time this topic comes up but I WANT YOU TO KILL ME by Alex Walton is deffo one ppl should listen to. It's kinda edgy and self-hateful in the same way that shit on this board is.

Apparently Slayyyter is not actually trans but people have been clocking her constantly anyways. It would be sad if she actually was with how many people are saying it but otherwise it's pretty funny.
>>
>>36632824
Femtanyl and Underscores come to mind. Underscores is girlypop and Femtanyl is like breakcore/hyperpop.
>>
>>36636505
i listen to E every day ^^ it's never left my rotation since it dropped . . . security relates to the trans experience so much

most of the people who come to mind have been said but wanna shout out two. 'reddit spacing' whatever

small artist called 'kit.' uhm she talks about kinda lame body horror stuff but i feel it sometimes. late march's '#SKMCORE!!!' is pretty good horrible loud music got decent lyrics but i cooked alive to digital dissociation for weeks last year. also like 'sticks' from her first album
artwork is pretty neat too, pic related

also gyrofield for cool "Neurofunk, UK Bass, Drum and Bass, Glitch, IDM, Techstep" ripped from rym idc bout that shit she's a transgender i guess
>>
>>36637395
reddit spacing is a good band name
>>
>>36636393
gupi is tony hawk's son so i assume it's the other one who's trans
>>
>>36637426
you realize not everyone with the same last name is actually directly related right? they arent tony hawks kid
and this made me double check shit and the first thing I see on their twitter is a pic of them with long hair and a skirt so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's both of them
>>
>>36637426
im pretty sure gupi is into some kind of transitioning desu
>>
>>36637439
gupi is tony hawks son what are u on about
>>
>>36637452
oh, I'm fucking blind
either way the 2nd point stands
>>
Genesis P-Orridge of Throbbing Gristle fame is probably the most important tranny in contemporary music and is one of the most important figures of the (musical) avant-garde of the post-war era in general.

I like Liturgy and Uboa a lot as well
>>
>>36633084
i miss her i used to be close friends with her lol
>>
>>36634078
tranny hyperpop is good u just have shit taste, also ethel cain exists.
