It's funny to me how much yuri and yaoi have evolved. I remember traditional yaoi being 100% pointy-chin men sporting 12pack abs and traditional yuri was just two soulless blank-faced ladies holding each other. These were what yaoi and yuri were. Of course, both have become very hetero-normal with traps and the girls doing gross stuff with each other.
