germanrussian (i can understand it but don't speak it very well)
>>36648923I'm a normie white American but I have always loved learning languages and made an effort to take as many classes as I could in school.Fluent in Mandarin (speaking, my reading is very basic), almost fluent in French (I'm a little rusty and I still need a dictionary to read Camus etc), basic Thai (lived there dor a bit), basic Spanish (I work with a lot of Spanish speakers and need it to communicate). At my job I meet people from all over the world, so I have basic greetings in maybe ~ 10 others (Arabic, Swahili, Turkish, German, Tagalog, Twi, Oromo, Japanese, a few others). My current goal is to learn more ASL, it's the language that makes the biggest difference when you meet someone who uses sign to communicate. Deaf clients are always so happy when I sign "welcome" to them, I really need to learn more.
>>36648923I've been trying to learn russian for years but I'm retarded :(
