I guess it depends on how you look at it.

When boy moding you are always presenting a lie and it will always be in the back of your mind how you wish you could just girl mode and present as female like every other girl. But it becomes a low grade chronic ache "of course people will call me sir im presenting that way" and other copes that protect you from the sting of Failiure. And each male fail will be glorious and truly 100% honest you didn't try to make that happen it just did due to your femininity.

Meanwhile girl moding is comfy and if you go often enough without being my sgendered the fact that you are trans can begin to slip out of your mind. People mostly treat you as youd like. But every misgender is an icy stab wound. And it hurts all the more because you tried your best and it wasn't enough because your genetics sucked etc. You begin to be filled with doubt "am I being gendered female because they are lying or do I pass to these people?" But you get to express yourself as you want as people will either see you as a girl or realize your trans and therefore you have nothing to lose by dropping the act of "acting like a guy"

Which is better who can say? The second definitly requires more courage but at the end of the day you'll be able to say you did what you always wanted.

your best bet is girlmoding in androgynous clothes
women's clothes are just generally more comfortable and will fit you better and make you feel better, but you also want to maintain the helpful contrast of looking feminine relative to your presentation. If you present too feminine it'll make you look more masculine in comparison

I pass but look pretty androgynous. Like I think still pass in more femme outfits but it def makes my more masc features look really awkward. But in androgynous fits it complements my appearance and lets my fem features shine. Also it helps with he doubt because it's less likely that people are gendering you female because of an obvious fashion choice.
