My intelligence has withered over the years due to depression, anxiety, and living as a NEET for extended periods. HRT, therapy, and finding a decent job have cleared my head a bit and I sometimes find myself being able to think like I used to. My EQ was never good and is much better now. I think HRT played a role, but I've also done a lot of introspection, and I think I've become a lot more empathetic due to my experiences.
