many of you are probably aware about a certain trans person whose name starts with k doing a very bad thing.i dont know much about this situation, but one thing i know is that its extremely terrible optics, and trans women as a whole suffer for things like this.its exhausting because i already know how people are going to react to this. many people already have a false notion that we are sex criminals. the actions of this one person simply validates that belief.because of isolated cases like this, more people are going to truly think we are sex criminals, and as trans women we are all going to face social and legal consequences as incidents like this happen.of course there are cis men and women who do equally reprehensible acts. but that doesnt fit into the narrative that trans people are p words.its just exhausting man. very disgusting person. feel terrible for everyone affected by these kinds of people. bracing myself for how isolated incidents like this will fuel anti trans rhetoric and catalyze our rights getting revoked faster on a global scale.
