I think maybe sometimes when you talk you speak downwards in inflection or slightly flat or mono in tone and that gives that impression. You have to think though that if you're sitting at home doing nothing much you will tend to sound more like that than when you're in an active conversation with another so I wouldn't assume the worst.The flip side is that Clint Eastwood deliebrately spoke with very little variation in tone, almost monotone to make his voice sound deeper and more manly as he acutally never had a particularly deep voice, unlike some other "manly" actors, despite how he is percived with his tough guy roles.
