What are your positive and happy thoughts about some of the times here and people on here? Any extra special good things and outcomes come from it? Did it help you through a bad patch or help you find something important to improve your life? :)

I've had a lot of good conversations and met interesting people on here and learned a lot from it. I don't think it would have been possible to get the varied insight, humor, perspective and stories I got here any other way or as easily. People here have a lot to contribute to the world with their thoughts. A lot are really humble and look down on themselves despite that. I'm glad I stayed on here posting and reading to discover them and what they think. I hope those that are hurting or feeling down get the good in their life that they want, I've seen many really good hearted people in need too.

My biggest hugs to all of you who need one! So many lovely and good people!

Please post your own positive experiences, discoveries, rewards, etc. from being here and interacting with people.

/lgbt/ actually taught me about trans people as I only knew LGB in my life. Without this board I'd have zero understanding of their thoughts, struggles, unique needs and so on. It basically humanised them in a way you can't do without being part of a community and having conversations. Ironically this board has probably done more for trans rights and cause to me and people I will talk to in future than anything else ever has.
>>
this is like the only place where late stage trannies hang out and are honest about experience and stuff, every other place is full of boomerhons with their euphoria stiffies and other babytrans who know everything because 2 hours of hrt experience.

also i learned about pio on the board in 2022 so I got to be an early adopter before it started becoming a mainstream trend

You know this is something that's easy to forget, that you can get some real reviews and heavy research from others that spend a lot of time thinking about this, studying and reporting back both good and bad. If I needed it then otherwise I'd have to trust their own websites showing carefully curated pics or something. Cuts through the shill noise for something so important. It's not like you can ask a random non trans person either for advice.

So sweet and it's amazing to think that it helps life changing happy stories like this. I hope to see many more.

Same again here! Also wonderful to see and shows how happiness can surprise us in unexpected places and make our lives better. It's not like you first visit or post here expecting it but then the plot twist happens! Amazing. You also sound like a really cute couple.

yeh this board has some trannies obsessed with finding out specific things, even hrt, like i even trust hrtgen over my endo

The power of collective autism combined with self interest or passion for your group really can do amazing things. Especially as you'll get some real no bullshit talk and not hondosed or thrown some little bone to keep you quiet. It actually gives you the info you need to either argue back or at least seek out better treatment you wouldn't be aware of otherwise (even if DIY that you'd never know about).

/hrtgen/ is great! i go there whenever im freaking out about medical stuff. and i love being able to talk to people and get (you)s without having to establish a persona and build a reputation beforehand like you need to do in literally every other internet space
>>

Yeah it's like a university and research lab for the internet masses for it and people will take the time for each other.

I'm feeling the love. People here have made me laugh many times. <3

np kass. ive always enjoyed your posting. its nice to read instead of all the hate and doomerism here. so glad things are working out for you!

Same actually. It does help when I'm down to see some good news and upbeat posting.

i’ve been here for like over half a decade and the only good thing is a lot of people here are easy to fuck with since they either believe the things they read here or are just a general low iq political extremist
>>

Fashion and makeup threads, when they happen, are the best.
I've gotten so many good tips, and just the general encouragement to experiment and accept that I'm going to make mistakes and that's part of the learning has been great.

Also, once in a while Finnster threads are really good.

So you got here at the start of covid.

Yeah actually now I think about it, I want to change my answer.
I would not have started my transition without this board because my ideas about what transgender and gender dysphoria was were so completely wrong that I didn't realize it was me the whole time.

i genuinely think 85% of you are awful but yeh ive met some nice people on here for sure
>>
>>37799798
met some ppl irl from here and because of that i now have warm, comfy, beautiful memories to look back on, which has not happened in a long while. they're broken, flawed, jagged around the edges people but still deeply deeply human. started going to shows again and have made good friends with people all across the country. its only because of this place that ive been able to get a tighter grip on my mental state and now i feel just a little bit more capable to go out into the world and not immediately crumple under the pressure of it.
once you get past the chaff there is a lot to be gained from an online space like this. its extraordinarily raw and honest and not everyone can hack it and not everyone SHOULD put themselves through it. but ive found im a lot less suicidal and look towards life a little more hopefully now.

bless u and your wife Kassandra, its always nice to see you post around here
