Do normie cis gay men and cis lesbians see trans women socially as women, and trans men as men?
>>
>>38044119
I don't exactly know how to answer that because I don't exactly know what you mean. If I'm aware that they're trans, I'm aware that they're trans. So I guess I do still see a difference between trans women and cis women, but I don't actually see them as men, I see them as trans women

Socially, yes, I guess I do subconsciously see them more as feminine than masculine
>>
>>38044119
I see you as 3rd gender (trans).
>>
>>38044166
Do you think they really are the gender they claim to be?
>>
>>38044202
Nta but this sentence breaks my brain.
>>
I guess more of a third gender because they always say "I've never been with an ftm before" or whatevr
>>
>>38044202
From an outside perspective, it's still hard to fully understand what you mean by "really are." There are differences between trans and cis that I can't make myself deny. I can't make my brain compute gender in the same way some trans people do, to where I would see no difference between a transwoman and a cis woman. I guess if someone passes so well that I have no idea they're trans, then I would have no idea

I respect somebody's wish to be treated and spoken to as they wish, within reason, but I can't unsee what I see or unknow what I know, if that makes sense
>>
>>38044210
That categorically, trans women belong authentically to the social group “female”.
>>
>>38044210
When you see a trans woman in person, do you, without prompting, perceive them as a female like any other?
>>
>>38044297
Nta but am this anon
>>38044166
>>38044258
Simplest answer would be that I actually do perceive them as "female," but not as "female like any other." I perceive them as transwomen, which I subconsciously categorize as much closer to female than male, but still in a distinct category from cis women

It also depends on the person. Some of you aren't even trying, lol, others really are very feminine in a way that feels authentic
>>
>>38044333
either you instantly go “thats a female” when u see them, or u dont
>>
asking ppl on 4chan about normie shit is a fool's errand, ask reddit instead
>>
>>38044412
I gave an honest answer

You'll never get an honest reply on any topic on Reddit, EVERY response is calculated for upvotes

>>38044119
nah i kinda just think of trans women as self hating gay men and trans men as severely mentally ill women desu
>>
>>38044427
I guess i mean like if u have normie frens irl, what are they like as gays about trans people.

For me, yeah, basically. I'm something of a TIRM, a trans inclusitory radical misogynist. I hate women because they are women. I hate trans women because they are women. Most trans men are completely shit at being men, but they're trying and that's better than being a fucking woman.
>>
>>38044488
thanks for your honesty
Do you think trans women would be happier accepting being gay men?
>>
>>38044520
well, i dont want to try and force anyone to live on my terms, but yeah i guess to me it's kind of like they are saying "i dont like this part of myself and so i am going to pretend that it isnt there by using different words - and i want you to play along with me so that i feel better" if that makes any sense
i do not want to stop them from taking hrt, dressing how they want to dress, acting how they want to act etc, and they are all adults and should live however they want
>>
>>38044582
Did you feel accepted as gay by others growing up?
>>
>>38044595
yes, i am fortunate because i grew up in a very liberal area and my parents are both hippies, so i didnt mind coming out at all and none of my friends really cared or bullied me for it
>>
>>38044691
lucky
You probably aren’t a flamer though anyways.
>>
>>38044785
yep, i am kind of on the masc end actually being an athlete for most of my life
even if we disagree on some things, i support trans rights and want you to be happy anon/anonette, so i hope you have a good night
>>
>>38044805
I don’t support trans rights.
>>
>>38044815
based
>>
>>38044119
As a cis lesbian, I see trans women as superior, fat cocked, goddesses.

My fembf gets dressed up, make up and everything. We fuck like bunnies then we cuddle and he starts to make fun of trannies kek. Both mtf and ftm. It's hilarious. Lights them up for no reason. Tho I think he does it cause people mistake him for a girl all the time. All he wants to do is wear cute clothes in peace i guess.
