i dont want to be a junior. Why the fuck do i have to transfer into uni as a junior just because i have a number of credits that supposedly correlates with a junior? I havent taken any of the required classes for my major (because they weren't even offered). Almost all the classes i took were only for the sake of transferring, they had nothing to do with trying to get a degree. I took so many classes literally just to make my application look better i dont actually want these to be part of my 120 credits. There are so many classes i wanted to take but were not offered at my school. I dont want to be at this school for only 3 semesters. Chances are i can not complete my major in 3 semesters because that is literally impossible. I dont know how anyone could unless they have specific majors took very specific classes in community college. Almost all the non-math courses i took were freshman level, even if they were 200 level they completely lacked any rigor and all are available in the form of AP classes. I only went to community college because my high school grades were so bad and i really wanted to go to this school.I dont want people to have the expectation that i have the same experiences as a junior regarding college life when i dont even know as much as most entering freshmen. And i am now barred from several dozen social and academic opportunities because theyre only for underclassmen without it even being my fault. Its not fair. if i could just not transfer anything and be a freshman id do it because this is so unfair.

Lots of GM's pre-test encounters on their own before unleashing it on their players to make sure the fights are survivable and it's not too many steps away from that to realize everything can be done solo. You lose a lot of the ingenuity surprise factor players provide but gain surprise in not knowing yourself what's behind a corner until you get to it and roll. Overall it's worse but way easier. I don't know for sure how long but I just checked roll20 (Online DnD tool a whole group joins to play together) and apparently I last used that with a group 7 years ago, so slightly less then 7 years.

I would definitely recommend playing with others first, multiple DM's and multiple systems. There's a lot of different styles for running a game and the more you can see the better your own style will end up. Many parts of solo play are better but undeniably there are parts of group play which are far far better. Could be that I call it worse now just because I miss those group parts I'm not experiencing. Time passes by quickly, I'm good at being alone.
