I want to get on diy (mtf) soon but honestly I feel so overwhelmed with all this, idk where to even begin. I’ve got a couple of stupid questions, sorry >_< So I have gyno so should I get my blood levels tested before getting anything? Also, I should go for EEn, right? And should I also buy an anti-androgen or just go for monotherapy? Well, I need to be able to hide changes from family so I should go for monotherapy then, I think. Idk. Also, how trustworthy/safe are amazon’s medical needles?
>>38466778spiro is cheap for diy also.the combo of an aa/e is standard. but if you dont like it, you can mono also but will need a little more. its easy to hide especially if they see you frequently. they wont notice.people that dont see you for a few months at a time will notice more.some people can immediately tell if they know you and are keen.theyre okay most the time.my parents didnt catch on until i told them when it was pretty obvious to everyone else.my gf knew within 3 hours of being on it again.

I’m away most of the time for uni, so they might notice something when I’m back on break. I’ve got a friend at uni who I’m with every day and he ended up sneakily seeing my trans alt accounts in like November so he probs knows but we haven’t spoken about it at all (kinda scary to, it seems we both would rather maintain the status quo). But he’d definitely figure it out if I got on diy, and I’m scared he’d tell my parents, which can only end in my getting kicked out and losing their financial support (they’re really religious/transphobic).Thanks for taking the time to answer :)

>>38466908Okay so raloxifene is expensive but it can block the estrogen receptors in breast tissue, which can be useful if you want to avoid breast development while on feminizing HRTI should say that I’m not the most well-versed in this stuff, so maybe some other anon who knows more could pitch in

I've been on hrt through planned parenthood for a little over a year now, I did 2mg of estradiol and 50mg of spiro twice a day for the first 6 months and now I'm at 3mg of estradiol in the morning and 2mg at night, same spiro. I've had significant libido loss, decent breast growth (though they're cone tits), and my skin is a lot softer but I haven't really had much feminization in the face yet. My most recent estrogen level test is 99.9 pg/ml, taken about 4 hours after my last dose since that's what they tell me to do, don't know my testosterone levels cause I couldn't afford it and my next appointment isn't for almost a year. Is there anything I could be doing different? I know about progesterone but I feel like it's probably too soon for it.
Are you allowed to take diy hrt with you on international flights? Like, if I want to travel with my EEn vial from europe to america (and vice versa), would I get in trouble? I go to college in europe (where I stay most of the year) but go back home to america for vacations.

i switched from taking anti androgens to mono injections and i hate how it makes me feel, i need to see an endo and get an orchi cause this is terrible, im literally only happy when im on high dose spiro or bica otherwise i feel miserable,

I'm currently on 6mg estradiol sublingual, 150mg spironolactone, and finasteride soon switching to dutasteride.What would happen if I started taking 75mg of bicalutamide on top of the 150mg spironolactone? From what I know the spironolactone reduces testosterone while also acting as a blocker. Meanwhile bicalutamide acts as a blocker alone. I don't really get any side effects from spironolactone as far as I'm aware, but I've been on it for about 4 months alongside the estradiol.

How are my levels?
