This might be an odd question, but is it possible for a male to have crushes on women and all that while growing up and be unknowingly gay?
>>38576507i think so
You're probably bisexual but prefer men those are usually the people who experience comphet attraction.
>>38578714the elaboratetheres a lot of societal pressure to be attracted to womenas a child you are expected to have crushes on women, and many adults may even insist that you DO have crushes which can kind of trick your brain into believing itand if youd never heard of being gay you might not even consider the possibility that you COULD be attracted to men as a guy
>>38578728this was literally me growing up. the concept of gay to me was big bearded adults and that was disgusting. all my friends kept crushing on girls and asking if I had a crush on any.it wasn't until around late college that I met a guy who made me question everything. long story short now I can never see myself dating a girl
>>38578805i thought i was asexual before i realised im just a low sex drive homofag because my friends were always crushing on girls and stuff and i just had 0 interest
>>38576507I don't know about gay men, but I know as a transwoman I developed psuedo-crushes on women as a form of repression. In retrospect I can see I was choosing either the least offensive woman to me, or women I would like to emulate.
So in my case I was obsessed with girls around the time I turned 13 (could have been fake idk) and I was obsessed with boobs and wanting a gf and later a family when I was older. Around late 2020 I for some reason have been obsessing about what I am. Is it really possible to do all that and be unknowingly gay?
>>38581031Umm... have you considered the possibility you might be transgender? Because the timeline there kinda matches up with the standard progression of GD in AMABs. Do you wish you had been born a girl? Do you think you'd like having boobs of your own? Do you think it's unfair that girls get to wear pretty clothes while you have to wear the same thing every day? I don't know about gay, but it's perfectly possible to not know you're trans.
>>38581081I have considered it a possibility because for awhile I'd get turned on by imagining being a woman and playing with myself, but it never went passed that and I have never felt gender dysphoria and I enjoy being male
>>38581184>I'd get turned on by imagining being a woman and playing with myselfThat's gender dysphoria sweetheart. >I have never felt gender dysphoriaGender dysphoria is a constant unrelenting pain. You don't realize how much pain you're in until it's gone. You're probably a chronic masturbator, the masturbation itself probably doesn't feel that good for you, but the relief you feel afterwards makes it worthwhile. The reason for that is right after ejaculation there's a big drop in testosterone and that's giving you relief from the GD. That feeling right after you masturbate, of just being stress free and content, that's what I feel all the time now because I actually dealt with what was bothering me. > I enjoy being maleDo you enjoy being male or are you just not letting yourself be honest about how you feel about your gender because you're (quite rightly) afraid of what it will mean if you are trans? Because that's SUPER common. My advice is try it for a day. LARP as a transwoman. Because if you do have it, it's hurting you more than you realize and you'll be a LOT happier and more productive if you deal with it.
>>38581242>That's gender dysphoria sweetheart.LMAO AGPmegahon detected
>>38581318>kvetching
>>38581333finding yourself as a girl hot is not GD
>>38576507Bisexual here. I don't understand the question.
>>38581422firstly, yeah it is. It literally is. Blanchard is not a serious person and doesn't believe in GD at all. secondly, that's not what anon said. Anon said he was imagining himself as a woman while masturbating. That's common. As I explained people with GD find safe ways to relieve themselves of the dysphoria and that's one of the ways we do it pre-transition.Another thing we do pre-transition is larp as women online. Chatrooms and stuff. Because its a safe way to express our gender that doesn't risk the quite severe social sanctioning from gender non-comformity. You know, the type that you constantly post because you're an obnoxious inbred demon who spreads misery, not because of any past trauma or anything, but just because that's your nature.
