trying to be positive and appreciate the grief as part of the experience xDhappy that skateboards don't care too much what you look like, recently (please be aware of credit card injuries)curious how others relate to hockey/ice skating/skateboards/rollerblades/roller derby/etc.
>>38583703i wanted to be a figure skater (girl) when i was 5; my mom said i couldn't (in either case) because we were too poorshe never encouraged me for anything anyway i love figure skating and for a while i followed it closely enough to be able to know jumps by name without commentary i also like ice dance i also like inline figure skating and the cones thingroller skating is less interesting to mein 2011 i could have gotten into inline figure but i was too agoraphobic to take busses to the rink where i used to live- so i got a new pc instead of buying snow white (a brand that specializes in them) inline figure skates (or picskate)(i grew up around the corner from a roller rink and went there regularly for a few years before dysphoria got too much and games pulled me more)it makes me sad ill never skate again because of my spine fractures and osteoporosis and destroyed joints :(
