Assuming the baldness gene is on the X chromosome, that it's solely responsible for baldness and that it's a dominant gene, that means people with XX chromosomes are more likely to carry the gene. So if testosterone activates the gene's expression, it's not surprising so many pooners find themselves going bald after starting HRT.So for example, if 50% of X chromosomes carry the baldness gene, that means pooners are 50% more likely to go bald than cis men.
