I get that we don’t have a lot of this in western culture, but it would be a lot easier to make this kind of aesthetic mainstream than to get everyone to pretend you’re a woman when you look like that.

>>38594544I think Transbians unironically have a harder time with dysphoria than we straights/bis do. Every trans woman at some point goes through a stage of doubt about validity. Being attracted to women, I imagine, is a pretty difficult stressor. Thus they have the same lack of social acclimation that straight trans women do, on top of an especially rough ingrained attribute they can't control. So they're probably more likely to be socially maladaptive, e.g. wearing awful outfits, not knowing how to socialize with women, just generally failing to assimilate. The trans community is at fault, and fails vulnerable transbians who are like this. The incessant validity discourse that declares cis women with dyed hair "just as trans" for being nonbinary tells these people, wrongly, that they don't "owe anyone femininity". Yeah, they kinda do? They have dysphoria, they owe themselves femininity, but again, they lack the social acclimation to know what to do.Transbians would be happier and better socially acclimated if the trans community wasn't hijacked by Self-ID. Assimilating into your gender identity has repeatedly been proven in medicine as the only effective treatment for dysphoria, and this concept is outright discouraged for many trans people. Straight trans women are probably more likely to meet and become friends with cis women, which naturally helps along socializing. I know from personal experience that just talking about boyfriends is an excellent icebreaker that has led to several friendships. Transbians need a bit more help, and they won't get it until the trans community is finally purged of people who don't belong in it.
