How often can I straighten my hair without damaging it?
>>38603343use heat spray
>>38603446I do. How often?
>>38603343I'm not a hair expert but if you use a good conditioner, shampoo, and heat spray you could probably straighten it quite often.
I'm glad I have straight hair, but I'm not glad that I'm 5'11"
>>38603545Daily?
>>38603343its inherently damaging
>>38603505every single time???
>>38603780Yeah of course. I didn't even know I could do it without it, I though my hair would melt or something.
>>38603343Idk, this thing never seemed safe to me, I'd never dare put my hair through that device on my own.
>>38603574I'm not 100% sure. And I do agree with >>38603770 there is a certain amount of damage that happens no matter what. The temperature of your straightener also matters, if you're going to be straightening daily you'll probably want to use a lower heat
Ive done it nearly daily since I was 12 and my hair is pretty damaged on the ends. but I'd rather damaged straight hair than my natural Italian ancestry agp frizz. What definitely helped is making sure it's super dry before ironing and being sure to use a heat protectant spray, don't do the highest setting and don't hold the iron too long. Also I wash my hair once a week and shower with my hair covered and just use dry shampoo so I don't have to re iron. It's not that bad but yeah those are my tips.
>>38603343dyson has a line of products for haircare. very expensive, but products like the dyson airwrap use non-heated air to dry and style your hair. I have the airwrap and use it daily, worth it 100%.
