She was an asian woman like me.Everytime I ask about why there's no PoC, I get weird responses. Usually some "um, but we are diverse" but the moment you ask when the last time a PoC showed up it's just crickets and then them going "well, you don't see them now but they're around and show up, I promise" for months / years. Or they point at a white person and say they got PoC heritage (this is actually okay, it's just, you know, I kinda expected more people with melanin too).I left the group, and usually don't hang out in pure white groups, just because the number of "I used to be bad (aka, racist / fascist) but I'm reformed now" people makes me roll my eyes.
