>only 28.2% of transwomen achieve Visual Conformity with Affirmed Gender
How do I stop this from happening to me?
>>
>>38606486
Yikes
>>
>>38606486
If you are on this board, and aren't a hardcore repper you probably already achieved this.
>>
>>38606486
That 28% prob includes delulu hons so its probably even less than that
>>
>>38606486
so like, "achieved visual conformity" is defined as when perceived score (how well they actually assume) exceeds desired score
it's trannies though, so imagine how ridiculously out of reach and optimistic those desired scores must have been
so lower your standards i guess?
>>
>>38606556
*how well they actually pass, i assume
too lazy to read the thing rn
>>
>>38606556
But 62.4% of transwomen achieved that...
>>
>>38606562
62.4% transmen*, double that of transwomen (28.2%)

Is it over for MtFs?
>>
>>38606486
transition earler
>>
>>38606570
i could just say anything lol, i didn't do the study, but maybe pooners (men) are more honest with themselves about realistic passing goals
it also fits nicely in with women are shallow and image obsessed and men don't give a shit
>>
>>38606486
Based transmen chads
>>
>>38606486
30-39 = 53,3%?
>>
>>38606486
interesting stats, shame there isn't a breakdown of mtf vs ftm for the respective categories. it's interesting that the trannies under 30 don't necessarily pass better than the older groups (worse even) and to see that chest surgery improved outcomes (again would have been interesting to see a breakdown for mtf vs ftm). shame there isn't one for facial surgery (which is proven by similar studies to make a huge difference in how trans women's faces are gendered) but i imagine this is an old study. mind you it says procedures to change secondary sex characteristics doesn't make a huge difference.
>>
>>38606594
oh and voice, i totally forgot about voice
how many trans women don't voice train?

PR>1 indicates positive correlation with VCAG. Curiously genital surgery seems to do nothing for MtFs. Chest surgery helps though
>>
>exam allows you to provide your own passing criteria
>still fail
lol
>>
>>38606486
>Visual Conformity with Affirmed Gender
i feel like i'm insane here
as a statistician my only question is wtf is this VCAG metric? how is it measured?
>>
>>38607225
it literally says how it is measured right on the table
>>
>>38606486
tons of trannies love been openly trans in public and with new people.
>>
>>38607197
Then maybe the passing rate is higher
Lots of passers are incredibly insecure from trauma
>>
>>38606486
>massive difference between genders
>proceed to present all data of both genders thrown together, hopelessly and irretrievably confounding any useful information that study may have yielded
>>
>>38606486
why are pooners depressed when all of them are passing
>>
>>38607758
no one wants to hear this but socialization
pooners grow up surrounded by a strong support network
men don't have that and if you're not used to it obviously you will easily become depressed
