Is anyone else here from an extremely remote location that barely any normies know about? I mean like, arctic circle, turkmenistan, amish village etc. Please tell me what it is like being LGBT where you live and share a bit about your daily life.
>>38639357Ill start, i live on a remote island in Canada. The majority of the population is native, other than some people who move here for resource extraction or teaching jobs. i spend a lot of time in nature, hiking and walking on the beach. I know theres some other lgbt people here but havent made any friends with them. Havent met any chasers. i feel incredibly lonely here, but if i moved away i would miss my family too much.
>>38639385Sounds interesting, always wanted to live in a setting like that. Sounds like youre the only gay on the island.
i wish i had a twink4twink bf who would live in or near the Arctic Circle with me. I can't stand the heat of summers in the lower 48 and there's very few places you can go for mild (~20c) summers.Hell, Central Alberta would be paradise compared to here.
not the most remote but i live in fairbanks, AK. furthest north large city in the US, 30k pop., about seven hours from anchorage & a several-days' drive from any other large city. lots of natives here too, something like twenty percent of the city population. i'm going to school here so there are some other lgbts but not many. studying a natural resources field & expecting to work this summer somewhere off the road system, so that'll be more isolated too. het mtf btw. can't find a nice local chaser. sigh
>>38639771oh, i also grew up in a mostly-amish area. lots of mennonites too. i'm not an anabaptist though so i never really interacted with them except through my large-animal-vet family. it was mostly just normal very rural american upbringing
>>38639385What is stopping you from making friends with the locals? Outside of being a 4chan user?
